Recorded at John Knight Studio, Ponsongath, LIzard, Cornwall.
Engineer John Knight.
Lyonesse is a country in Arthurian legend, particularly in the story of Tristan and Iseult. Said to border Cornwall, it is most notable as the home of the hero Tristan, whose father was king. In later traditions Lyonesse is said to have sunk beneath the waves some time after the Tristan stories take place, making it similar to Ys and other lost lands in medieval Celtic tales, and perhaps connecting it with the Isles of Scilly.

I
Lyonesse, Lyonesse,
where are your shores?
Houses and villages,
houses and villages,
seen no more,
Lyonesse, Lyonesse,
under the sea,
Dreams lie with mermaids,
children to be,
Dreams lie with mermaids,
children, to be.
II
Royal line. Royal line,
where your domaine?
Of your bright palaces,
of your bright palaces,
none remain,
Royal line, Royal line,
will you return?
Where bones lie
mouldering under the fern,
Where bones lie
mouldering under the fern.
III
Every year, every year,
life springs again,
Giving new chances,
giving new chances,
healing pain,
Every year, every year,
we can rebuild
Dream woven palaces
round a new child,
Dream woven palaces
round a new child.
IV
Cornish child, Cornish child,
you are today,
Travelling with everyman ,
travelling with everyman,
on your way.
Cornish child, Cornish child
within your life’s will,
There is a Lyonesse
that can be still,
There is a Lyonesse
that can be still.
V
Lyonesse, Lyonesse,
where was your shore?
Houses and villages,
houses and villages…
seen no more…
seen no more.

Last Christmas * Wham! * (HD)
Last Christmas is a song by British pop duo Wham!, released on Epic Records in 1984, on a double A-side with Everything She Wants. It was written by George Michael, one half of the duo. The song has been covered by many artists throughout the years.
Wham! went on to enjoy worldwide success between 1982 and 1986. They made their U.S. debut appearance on Dick Clark's American Bandstand but broke up in late 1986, whereupon Ridgeley moved to Monaco, and tried his hand at Formula Three motor racing. Meeting with little success, Ridgeley moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career in acting. He returned to Britain permanently in 1990.
CBS Records (later Sony Music), having taken up the option on Wham!'s contract that specified solo albums from Michael and Ridgeley, released a guitar and drum driven solo recording from Ridgeley, Son of Albert, in 1990. His brother Paul, an occasional percussionist for Bananarama, played drums on the album. Singles included Shake and Red Dress. CBS passed up the option of a second album. Reportedly after retiring from active music-making, Ridgeley still remained active in music-writing under various pseudonyms.
Ridgeley now lives near Wadebridge, Cornwall, United Kingdom, in a restored 15th century farm property with his girlfriend Keren Woodward of the pop group Bananarama. The majority of his spare time is taken up by golf and he is a keen member of a local club where he plays off a handicap of 10. He is also a keen Queens Park Rangers fan.
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special
Once bitten and twice shy
I keep my distance
But you still catch my eye
Tell me baby
Do you recognize me?
Well
It's been a year
It doesn't surprise me
I wrapped it up and sent it
With a note saying I love you
I meant it
Now I know what a fool I've been
But if you kissed me now
I know you'd fool me again
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special
Oh oh, I believe it
A crowded room
Friends with tired eyes
I'm hiding from you
And your soul of ice
My god I thought you were
Someone to rely on
Me?
I guess I was a shoulder to cry on
A face on a lover with a fire in his heart
A man under cover but you tore me apart
Now I've found a real love
You'll never fool me again
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special
Last Christmas
I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year
To save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special
A face on a lover with a fire in his heart
A man under cover but you tore him apart
Maybe next year I'll give it to someone
I'll give it to someone special.

Producers EPK Official Promo
So who are Producers?
Step forward Lol Crème, ex-member of brilliant 70s pop group 10cc and one half of hit-makers and production/video duo Godley & Creme, legendary British producer Trevor Horn, award-winning musician, engineer and producer Stephen Lipson and ubiquitous human drum machine Ash Soan.
Kaleidoskopischer Prog-Pop deluxe!
Made in Basing Street is a perfectly formed evocation of rock classicism -- Mojo
The Crème of the Crop -- Mirror
Compared to the average 2012 recording this is like sinking into a seat in First Class after a long journey scrunched up in cattle class - Word
Your Life -- is so emotional it knocks you over like a tank -- Sunday Times
Finely-honed Pop Rock -- Rhythms Mag
Made In Basing Street is polished-to-perfection elegance, the show of excellence is undeniable. - Classic Rock

SUMMARY
=======
Cornwall (; Cornish: Kernow [ˈkɛrnɔʊ]) is a county in South West England, bordered to the north and west by the Celtic Sea, to the south by the English Channel, and to the east by Devon, the River Tamar forming the border between them. Cornwall is the westernmost part of the South West Peninsula of the island of Great Britain. The southwesternmost point is Land's End and the southernmost Lizard Point. Cornwall has a population of 563,600 and an area of 3,563 km2 (1,376 sq mi). It is administered by Cornwall Council, apart from the Isles of Scilly, which are administered separately. The county town is Truro, Cornwall's only city.
Cornwall is the homeland of the Cornish people and the cultural and ethnic origin of the Cornish diaspora. It retains a distinct cultural identity that reflects its history, and is recognised as one of the Celtic nations. It was formerly a Brythonic kingdom and subsequently a royal duchy. The Cornish nationalist movement contests the present constitutional status of Cornwall and seeks greater autonomy within the United Kingdom in the form of a devolved legislative Cornish Assembly with powers similar to those in Wales and Scotland. In 2014, Cornish people were granted minority status under the European Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, giving them recognition as a distinct ethnic group.First inhabited in the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic periods, Cornwall continued to be occupied by Neolithic and then Bronze Age peoples, and later (in the Iron Age) by Brythons with strong ethnic, linguistic, trade and cultural links to Wales and Brittany the latter of which was settled by Britons from the region. Mining in Cornwall and Devon in the south-west of England began in the early Bronze Age.
Few Roman remains have been found in Cornwall, and there is little evidence that the Romans settled or had much military presence there. After the collapse of the Roman Empire, Cornwall (along with Devon, parts of Dorset and Somerset, and the Scilly Isles) was a part of the Brittonic kingdom of Dumnonia, ruled by chieftains of the Cornovii who may have included figures regarded as semi-historical or legendary, such as King Mark of Cornwall and King Arthur, evidenced by folklore traditions derived from the Historia Regum Britanniae. The Cornovii division of the ...

SUMMARY
=======
A pub, or public house, is an establishment licensed to sell alcoholic drinks, which traditionally include beer (such as ale) and cider. It is a relaxed, social drinking establishment and a prominent part of British, Irish, Breton, New Zealand, Canadian, South African and Australian cultures. In many places, especially in villages, a pub is the focal point of the community. In his 17th-century diary Samuel Pepys described the pub as the heart of England.Pubs can be traced back to Roman taverns, through the Anglo-Saxon alehouse to the development of the tied house system in the 19th century. In 1393, King Richard II of England introduced legislation that pubs had to display a sign outdoors to make them easily visible for passing ale tasters, who would assess the quality of ale sold. Most pubs focus on offering beers, ales and similar drinks. As well, pubs often sell wines, spirits, and soft drinks, meals and snacks. The owner, tenant or manager (licensee) is known as the pub landlord or landlady, or publican. Referred to as their local by regulars, pubs are typically chosen for their proximity to home or work, the availability of a particular beer or ale or a good selection, good food, a social atmosphere, the presence of friends and acquaintances, and the availability of recreational activities such as a darts team, a skittles team, and a pool or snooker table. The pub quiz was established in the UK in the 1970s.
