Best of Costa Rica in 8 Days - April 23rd- 30th, 2013
San Jose, La Fortuna- Hot Springs, Los Sueños
& Manuel Antonio National Park
Experience the best Costa Rica has to Offer. This adventure will take us through the capitol's hidden charms and colonial flourishes and into the mountains of the interior, passing bubbling volcanoes, hot springs, tranquil cloud forests and ending in the most beautiful national park you've ever encountered. Call us Today! 1-866-YOU-TOUR
Touching down in the sprawling capitol city of Costa Rica can be a shock for the senses, but there is plenty to do here before embarking onto greener pastures. Here we will settle in one of the finest Hotels in the city the Hotel Grano de Oro.* The open air central courtyard restaurant within the hotel the is one of the finest in the city.
If you're in the need of a quick respite from the street crowds and tropical heat, head indoors to the Museo de Jade where you can admire centuries -old pre-Columbian jade carvings. Architecture and culture buffs alike shouldn't miss out on the Teatro Nacional, a stunning colonial construction that is the beating heart of San Jose's theater scene.
Day 2: Hot Rocks- La Fortuna
Just a few hour Tour Bus drive away on the base of the Volcano Arenal , the tourist friendly town of La Fortuna is a world away from the hustle and bustle of San Jose'. Here we will check into the Tabacon Grand Spa Thermal Resort.*
Your first destination is obvious, namely the dark and brooding volcano in the distance Volcan Arenal. Ample daylight is conductive to long hikes through the surrounding forests, while nighttime allows for stunning views of exploding Lava showers!!
With a cocktail in hand we will head to one of the many therapeutic Hot Springs to relax as the steam rollings into the air. It won't take long to understand the Pura Vida way of life that all Costa Ricans live by.
Day 3: Monteverde & Santa Elena
After you towel-dry, take a boat across the majestic Laguna de Arenal to arrive in the peaceful retreat of Monteverde and Santa Elena. This fun town comprises fun cafe's, eclectic restaurants , attractive galleries and some of the country's best ice cream. Use the morning to take one of the zip-line canopy tours here.
Of course, the main attraction is the Monteverde Cloud Forrest, where you can search for the elusive quezal. Nearby Reserva Santa Elena and the Eternal Rainforest offer equally misty cloud-forest experiences.
Day 4+5: Los Sueños
From Monteverde we will travel south along the pacific coast to Los Sueños. On the way we will stop at the infamous Tárcoles River where we will get to see the largest gathering of wild 16ft+ Crocodiles you'll ever see in your life.
We will spend a day at the luxurious Los Sueños Resort and Marina, located on Costa Rica's Central Pacific Coast, represents a world of adventure, excitement, incredible landscapes and lush rainforest. It also represents home to many looking for unsurpassed luxury. Los Sueños is undoubtedly the place to be to experience a truly unique and exclusive residential community with vibrant tropical surroundings.
Day 6+7: Manuel Antonio National Park & Quepos
In this Tico town the jungle meets the sea and you will realize again what the locals mean by PURA VIDA. This tranquil town along the coast you will see the rare three toed sloths descend from the tree tops and monkeys frolicking in troops along the palm-fringed coastline. If you want to get a monkeys-eye view, arrange a guided tour to the nearby Rainmaker Aerial Walkway, which lets you stroll from platform to platform across the treetop canopy.
Manuel Antonio offers a variety of options from a nice relaxing day at the beach to an adventurous day exploring the jungles. The Pacific Ocean in front of Manuel Antonio Park is also world renowned for its fishing. From November to April it is not uncommon for a typical angler to release multiple billfish in the over 100 pound range This place is always a favorite among visitors to Costa Rica
Day 8: Saying Adio's
You can say Adios by getting in the water with this crazy tico.
Our suggestion will be to jump on the tour bus to head back to San Jose in time to connect with your departing flight home.

When the Manuel Antonio National Park started to become more and more well known, the little town of Manuel Antonio started to become more and more popular, with hotels being built both in the town, on the beach and on the road into the town. The stunning picturesque views on the road to Manuel Antonio have led to many exclusive hotels being built. The cheaper, budget hotels are mainly found on the beach. The National Park continues to be a draw for tourists with its beautiful beaches, stunning settings and luxuriant rainforest.
Surfing conditions in Manuel Antonio are good and are suitable for surfers with any experience. It has a beach break with right and left peaks and the waves provide fun rides for all. Read More at:

Things that help me stay GROUNDED and HAPPY
1) Exercise and Stretching (Yoga, dance, jogging)
2) Healthy Relationships (The key is to treat others the way you want to be treated))
3) Clean Eating (I love plant based foods) they contain fibre to clean the colon, they are not fattening and they don't produce too much acidity (toxicity) in your body
4) Connecting with my higher spiritual self (call it God, Nature, Universe, Mother, Father) It's all around us, it's in us
