COSTA RICA, EXPLORING the main SHOPPING AREA (CENTRAL AVENUE) in SAN JOSE ????️
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go to the beautiful capital of Costa Rica, the city of San José ans let's see how it feels to walk along Central Avenue on a Sunday morning. San José is located in the Central Valley, in the western province of the country, San José is the seat of national government, the focal point of political and economic activity, and the major transportation hub of this Central American nation. The population of San José Canton is 288,054, though the metropolitan area stretches beyond the canton limits and comprises a third of the country's population. It is named in honor of Joseph of Nazareth.
Costa Rica is a rugged, rainforested Central American country with coastlines on the Caribbean and Pacific. Though its capital, San Jose, is home to cultural institutions like the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum, Costa Rica is known for its beaches, volcanoes, and biodiversity. Roughly a quarter of its area is made up of protected jungle, teeming with wildlife including spider monkeys and quetzal birds.

COSTA RICA, EXPLORING the beautiful capital of SAN JOSE (CENTRAL AMERICA) ????️

Though few people live in the city center, it is the most important working area of the country, which brings in more than a million people daily. San José is still one of the safest and least violent cities in the region. In 2006, the city was appointed Ibero-American Capital of Culture.

Curridabat San Jose Costa Rica Real Estate Costa Rica
Curridabat San Jose Costa Rica Real Estate Costa Rica
????????Hi everyone, in this video I’ll talk about another beautiful area here in Costa Rica. Curridabat and surrounding areas on the east side of the city of San Jose.
???????? I am John Ordonez Real estate professional for over 10 years here in Costa Rica specialized in Luxury Real Estate, closing multiple deals every year. So if you are interested in Costa Rica real estate and life, this is your channel.
Please help us grow and support the channel by clicking the red subscribe button!
Question of the day! If you have heard about Costa Rica, what’s the most common thing you normally hear?
????????Curridabat is a neighborhood located on the east side of the city, it is a nice residential area that has experienced a big development grow in the past few years, still Escazu and Santa Ana locations seem to be more attractive to foreigners and relocations basically because the west side developed faster and before however, the east side is moving faster now with new nice constructions, first class amenities, hotels, malls and super nice and luxurious residential developments, other well known neighborhoods in the area are Los Yoses, San Pedro, 3 Rios and barrio escalante. There are or are being built in these locations modern nice condo towers such as Urban condominiums, Torre Los Yoses, Xcala, Bohemia Escalante and many more!
Definitely the area is growing fast with a lot of quality and modern architecture.
????????There are many home options as well and very high-end condominiums such as Monteran golf community, El Gregal, Altamonte and some more!
????????In this area there are many bilingual school options,Lincoln School is not far, International Christian School, International Sek School and many others.
????????This area is also home of the Costa Rican University with a big campus offering one of the best college option in the country.
????????There is also a very well known area on this side of the city, Calle de la Amargura which is a very small street full of bars, small fast food restaurants, small businesses and most of the time a lot of college kids coming from the different universities in the area! Not a very nice area for families specially at night but some have fun there! Be careful in the area since there is a lot of alcohol and everything else related to that activity.
????????The area also offers cooler temperatures than other areas in San Jose however; it is not a huge difference since all areas in San Jose have similar temperatures unless you go higher up to the mountains where you will find a different atmosphere.
????????Over all the entire entire east side is safe and nice, a lot of options for families to live comfortably, nice temperature and great food as well is a plus!
????????I hope this video was useful for you and hope your enjoyed as well. Please help us reach our goal and reach the 2.000 subscribers, support our channel by clicking the Red Button below and share on your social media! Thanks a lot and I’ll see you soon in my next video!

La Sabana Metropolitan Park (Spanish: Parque Metropolitano La Sabana) is located in downtown San José, Costa Rica. It is the country's largest and most significant urban park. La Sabana is considered the lungs of San José by Costa Ricans.
The National Stadium of Costa Rica (Spanish: Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica) is a multi-purpose stadium in La Sabana Metropolitan Park, San José, Costa Rica. It is the first modern sport and event arena to be built in Central America. The stadium was completed in 2011 and officially opened its doors to the public on Saturday, March 26 of that same year, with a capacity of 35,175 seats. The stadium replaces the original National Stadium. It also serves as the home stadium of the Costa Rica national football team.
It has one high-definition 160-square-metre (1,700 sq ft) screen, located in the southern section of the stadium, along with a smaller monochromatic screen, and another monochromatic screen of the same dimensions in the northern section.
It will be used to host matches during the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, including the opening game, the third place match and the Final.
Geography
Covering an area of 0.72 km² (72 hectares = 720 000 m2), La Sabana Metropolitan Park is adjacent to the city's core districts, offering green space and recreation to the residents of San José.
Several important institutions and organizations are located within or adjacent to the park.
History:
La Sabana Metropolitan Park was officially inaugurated in 1977, though its origins go back two centuries. Manuel Antonio Chapuí, the parish priest of San José at the end of the 17th century, donated several plots of land in the Mata Redonda District in order to favour Costa Rican's interests. Since that time the area has been used for recreation and sports activities.
Costa Rica's first president, Juan Mora Fernández, and other josefino personalities devoted themselves to provide the park with several dispositions with the aim of preserving this green area legacy.
For more than 150 years the park developed its characteristic vegetation, spurred by planting campaigns from the citizens. In 1930 this project was halted when the government decided to locate the country's first international airport within the park area. La Sabana International Airport functioned for 44 years, until the opening of the current Juan Santamaría International Airport.
During the decade of the 1960s the idea of turn La Sabana into San José's lungs was taking up again. With that goal, trees, shrubs and grass were planted. In 1977, during the Daniel Oduber Administration, La Sabana was officially classified as a Metropolitan Park. In 2001 La Sabana was declared a National Architectural Heritage, by an Executive Decree.
Landmarks:
La Sabana Metropolitan Park's most prominent buildings are the country's Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica (national stadium) and the Costa Rican Art Museum (Museo de Arte Costarricense). Both are sited within the park's green space. The stadium is located above the old stadium's former location. The art museum is housed in the former main building of 'old' La Sabana Airport.
A large artificial lake, several sports fields, running and skating tracks, and a shooting range are also inside its boundaries. Surrounding the park, several institutions have their main offices. These include the main electricity company of Costa Rica, Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, and the nation's Contraloría General de la República de Costa Rica (Comptroller General) headquarters.

Capital Gains in Costa Rica.
Capital Gains in Costa Rica began on July 1, 2019. For many years property owners in Costa Rica never had to worry about capital gains when selling their Costa Rican real estate. The existing law only applied capital gains tax to real estate developers that were in the business of developing and selling real estate. Everybody else was exempt. Recent changes to the Costa Rican tax laws implemented an across the board Capital Gains Tax (Ganancias de Capital) and in this article, I will review the impact of that law on the sale of real estate in Costa Rica.
