Cotters Market (Vlogtober Day 2)
Today we spend the morning at Cotters Market in Townsville and then pop to the shops in the afternoon. All in all a pretty cruisey Sunday, North Queensland style. Filmed and edited on my iPhone 6s. ????????????

Hotspot Location of the week - Townsville Property Market
Townsville ranks among the sturdiest regional economies in Australia. We always seek economic diversity in a property investment location and Townsville has more than most regional cities.
It has strong elements of government administration, education, defence, resources, health, tourism and manufacturing – plus an export port.
Its property market experienced an unbroken run of double-digit growth years from 2002 to 2007 – and, after experiencing some mixed fortunes in the past couple of years, is ready to resume its forward progress. A sign of market recovery is seen in the level of vacancies, which are declining as economic growth resumes.
This report covers the Townsville LGA including the suburbs of Annandale, Cranbrook, Douglas, Kelso, Kirwan, Mt Louisa.

Australia Diary #3 | Townsville & Whitsunday Islands

National Youth Week - Townsville Intercultural Centre
Some 13 500 people will enter Australia this program year under the Department of Immigration and Citizenship's refugee and humanitarian program.
They will join more than 700 000 people who have escaped from war torn and troubled nations and resettled in Australia since World War II.
To help celebrate National Youth Week, DIAC met with the Townsville Intercultural Centre who are carrying out research to help young entrants settle in Australia.
