Sedge Warbler - Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park, Durham
A nice male bird sitting singing his heart out. These are superb looking warblers.
My English Bulldog loves walks at Cowpen Bewley woodland park
Winston loves the great scenery at my local woodland park, great place for taking the dog and kids for some fresh air - feed the ducks and swans and then let them head of to the small woodland park to let of some steam.

Video for blog What a surprise to look out to the bright yellow of a Yellowhammer under window! A return to snow and cold with large groups of Chaffinches visiting feeders other birds do join them. Bramblings are regulars just now, we've had a Reed Bunting and now a Yellowhammer - wonder who else will join in?
Nightingale - Westleton 2013
A Nightingale singing in view on two separate days in early May. This is likely the same individual as the perches were within a few metres of one another and the left leg was favoured in both clips.

Is the stranded Huntington Beach dolphin a victim of bullying?
The dolphin is believed to be one of six seen swimming in Huntington Harbor at Huntington Beach, California. The dolphin was somehow separated from its pod mates. The 400-pound creature took refuge near Warner Avenue bridge. Would-be rescuers used paddle boards in an attempt to shoo the dolphin back into the harbor on Saturday. But the sight of two more dolphins scared it back toward Warner Avenue bridge. The dolphin swam under the paddle-boarders and back toward the bridge. Experts say the dolphin may be a victim of bullying from other dolphins. SOURCE: CNN, Los Angeles Times
