COZUMEL, EL CIELO COZUMEL, SNORKELING TOUR COZUMEL MEXICO, MEXICAN BEACH, EL CIELO SAND BAR
COZUMEL, EL CIELO COZUMEL, SNORKELING TOUR COZUMEL MEXICO, MEXICAN BEACH, 2019, Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, is a popular cruise ship port of call famed for its scuba diving. At Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park, there's diving spots around a section of the Mesoamerican Reef and the Museo Subacuático de Arte’s submerged sculptures. Chankanaab is an eco park surrounding a lagoon with underwater caverns, home to dolphins, manatees and sea turtles. The economy of Cozumel is based on tourism, with visitors able to benefit from the island's balnearios, scuba diving, and snorkeling. The main town on the island is San Miguel de Cozumel. Cozumel has tropical savanna climate under the Köppen climate classification that closely borders on a tropical monsoon climate.[11] The dry season is short, from February to April, but even in these months precipitation is observed, averaging about 45 millimetres (1.8 in) of rain per month. The wet season is lengthy, covering most of the months, with September and October being the wettest months, when precipitation averages over 240 millimetres (9.4 in). Thunderstorms can occasionally occur during the wet season.[12] Temperatures tend to remain stable with little variation from month to month though the temperatures are cooler from December to February with the coolest month averaging 22.9 °C (73.2 °F). Owing to its proximity to the sea, the island is fairly humid, with an average humidity of 83%.[12] The wettest recorded month was October 1980 with 792 millimetres (31.2 in) of precipitation and the wettest recorded day was June 19, 1975, with 281 millimetres (11.1 in).[12] Extremes range from 9.2 °C (48.6 °F) on January 18, 1977 to 39.2 °C (102.6 °F). At El Cielo, named after heaven itself, marvel at the starfish that decorate the sandy ocean floor. This sandbank in the southwestern tip of Cozumel is an incredibly beautiful spot with turquoise waters and shallow areas where the starfish are known to gather. The water depth at Cielo is very shallow, usually only waist deep, and is known as a sandbar. El Cielo is only accessible by boat and is about a half mile from the coast. The powder white sand will massage your feet every step you take.
For the next part of your Cozumel tour to Colombia Reef, a sublime snorkeling spot hailed as one of the Marine National Park's finest. Mild currents greet you in a protected bay like area where the shallow coral heads rise around 10-30 feet above the sandy ocean floor. Situated near Colombia Lagoon this area sometimes gets cool, fresh water coming from the lagoon. With excellent visibility and diverse variety of marine life, Colombia Reef is a perfect place to spot sea turtles, coral communities, barracudas, eagle rays and schools of shimmering fish.
Tour of Mr. Sanchos Beach Club in Cozumel Mexico
looking for something to do in Cozumel? Mr. Sancho's is an a pay by the day private resort where most is included. While there are paid options (Jet Skis, Massages, etc), many items (food, drinks, beach, pools, etc) are included in the price of admission.
Reservations are highly suggested as they do sell out.

Cozumel, Mexico -Submarine Tour.
This is definitely one of the most unique tours in Cozumel. You
actually fully submerge in a real submarine, and dive to depths of 100 feet beneath the surface of the water. From beneath the sea, you'll see the wonders of underwater Cozumel go by before your eyes. You could see the coral reefs and some fishes of Cozumel without even getting wet!

COZUMEL SNORKELING TIPS & Creepy Animals
Best snorkeling from the shore in Cozumel Mexico. After spending $40 on snorkel boat tours, A local told me that a place called Playa Corona was much better. You could snorkel from the beach and it was free. That was once true. After hurricane Wilma, the coral reef near the shore is gone there as well as the nearby Sky Reef. I’m not sure if the wave action crushed the reef to a pulp or if Wilma just buried it with sand. Probably both. The deeper reefs away from the shore are still intact and thriving well. You can take several snorkeling tours that will guide you. The best snorkeling form the shore we found was at El Presidente Resort and Spa. For three nights we stayed right on the crystal clear turquoise waters and lounged in the many palapas, bungalows, pools and hot tubs. Ocean sunset dinners were spectacular and The food was so fresh it was practically crawling off your plate. We ended up snorkeling from the beach there the entire rest of our vacation exploring a couple small coral outcroppings and the sunken barge thingie. You can rent snorkel gear at El Presidente and The staff was extremely friendly.

Cozumel, México
Cozumel, México - Caribbean Island Paradise, live it to believe it.
Isla Cozumel is in the Caribbean sea, state of Quintana Roo, Mexico, off the eastern coast of Yucatán Peninsula and opposite of Playa Del Carmen.
We fly from Los Angeles to Cancun and then to Cozumel and stay at an all inclusive hotel Park Royal in San Miguel, the capital.
The Dolphin Discovery experience in Chankanaab, a National Marine Park, was super awesome! Snorkeling, scuba diving with tropical fish on a colorful reef, beach and lagoon with hammocks, botanical garden, crocodiles, mayan archaeological sites, steam bath, tequila factory tour and tasting, freshly hand made tortillas, royal swimming with dolphins and the sea lion show.
The city of San Miguel is a popular cruise ship destination, a beautiful waterfront promenade, family-oriented, authentic and vibrant Mexican-Mayan food and culture, arts and shops, many skills and trades, unique custom works, tile spray painting by Jorge Matos, Huichol Beading by Poncho Nava. Also sailing, deep sea fishing, Atlantis submarine tours, nature tours, parasailing, surfing and stand up paddle boarding. La Choza restaurant, Yucatecan cooking, of Mexican Caribbean influence.
Playa Del Carmen, ferry dock, UltraMar, Yucatan Channel, Quinta Avenida, Fifth Avenue, tobacco factory, Cuban cigars, hand-rolled from leaves. La Caprichoza, authentic Mexican cuisine. Fundadores Park, Capilla De Nuestra Señora del Carmen, prayer dance by the papantla bird-men in gratitude to Chichini (the Sun God), Xipe Totec (God of Fertility), and Tlaloc (Rain God) and other Maya stories of Legends and Gods.
Southern half of Cozumel Island, scenic ride, white-sand beaches, pristine Atlantic waters of amazingly clear turquoise color. Punta Sur, ecological park, coral reefs, secluded beaches, monkeys, crocodile lagoon, Celarian Lighthouse, Faro de Celarain. Coconut stands, nude beaches. San Gervasio, archaeological site of the pre-Columbian Maya civilization, goddess Ix Chel.
Xcaret, theme eco-park, coati, spider monkeys, raccoons, panthers, jaguar, snorkeling, scuba and snuba, swimming with sharks, stingrays and dolphins. Sea Trek, tropical fish, stingrays, underground rivers. Chapel of Guadalupe, Ppolé, Mayan pyramids, paradise river, Mayan village, Mayan artisans. Adrenalina boat. Xcaret Mexico Espectacular, night show, Maya ballgame, Pelota Purepecha, fire ball hockey, Flor de Pina - Tuxtepec Oaxaca, Fluent and Drums - La Chontalpa, La Bruja & La Bamba - Veracruz, Danza de los Viejitos - Michoacan, México En La Piel.
CUN to LAX (Cancun to Los Angeles) was a dream come true - chasing the sunset with a crescent moon out the window from 32,000 feet!

Nachi Cocom Cozumel Cruise Tour (2018)
Nachi Cocom in Cozumel, Mexico is a popular beach resort of cruise passengers who are spending the day the Western Caribbean.
The all-inclusive resort had a nice beach, a pool, hot tub, and a nice selection of food to choose from.
A benefit of booking Nachi Cocom is that they cap the resort once a maximum number of guests have booked it. So it's good to book this tour as soon as you realize you want to go. It is $55 per adult and $35 per child.
You do pay a 20% deposit when you book the resort, that is taken off the final price once you get there. You pay in full when you arrive at the resort. You can either pay with cash or credit card.
Read a full review with photos here:
The cruise lines do not offer a tour to Nachi Cocom, you need to book it yourself.
Since the beach resort focused on cruise guests, they know when the ship is leaving and they will make sure you find your way back to the direction of the ship so you make it back.
The beach club is about a 10-minute taxi ride from the pier. The taxi rates are regulated by the local authorities in Cozumel so you don't have to worry about paying too much. It's good to find a group of people on the ship because it's cheaper to split the cost of the taxi. The vans can hold up to six or eight people.
