Elite Champagne Catamaran Sail & Snorkel Excursion- Cozumel, Mexico - Carnival Paradise Travel Vlog
Finally made it to Part 2 of our travel vlog in Cozumel, Mexico- Day 4 of our Carnival Paradise Cruise. This video is dedicated just for the excursion we went on the Elite Champagne Catamaran Sail & Snorkel.
When we were originally researching excursions for our cruise, we could not find any legit videos on this excursion. So this problem actually is what inspired us to make this video. We hope having this video out there will help you with your decision when booking your excursion while visiting Cozumel.
Overall Thoughts:
The crew on the ship was awesome.
Price was more than fair given the service/ drinks/ food/ boat/ snorkeling etc.
snorkel sights were ok. Not the best but certainly not bad. we did see a ton of fish during the first stop.
Negative: I really dislike guided tours. Would rather have free range snorkeling at both stops. Stop 1 was guided.
Stop 2 was actually free range. However, only downside was the extreme current. You had to keep kicking just to stay close to the boat. ( which was exhausting) But if you are out of shape or do not like snorkeling, you can still chill and keep drinking on the boat and enjoy the excellent Cozumel scenery.
I thought 35 people would feel clustered but it wasn't bad at all. still comfortable and crew was still able to provide some 1 on 1 service.
Would definitely recommend this excursion!!!

The TUCAN Cozumel, Mexico 04/09/2011
Although there are two ways to spell it, the spelling that I chose in the previous, THE TOUCAN video was incorrect. It should have been THE TUCAN. This video is exactly the same as the previous one, except for the correct spelling this time: THE TUCAN. Now I can sleep at night.

COZUMEL, EL CIELO COZUMEL, SNORKELING TOUR COZUMEL MEXICO, MEXICAN BEACH, EL CIELO SAND BAR
COZUMEL, EL CIELO COZUMEL, SNORKELING TOUR COZUMEL MEXICO, MEXICAN BEACH, 2019, Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, is a popular cruise ship port of call famed for its scuba diving. At Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park, there's diving spots around a section of the Mesoamerican Reef and the Museo Subacuático de Arte’s submerged sculptures. Chankanaab is an eco park surrounding a lagoon with underwater caverns, home to dolphins, manatees and sea turtles. The economy of Cozumel is based on tourism, with visitors able to benefit from the island's balnearios, scuba diving, and snorkeling. The main town on the island is San Miguel de Cozumel. Cozumel has tropical savanna climate under the Köppen climate classification that closely borders on a tropical monsoon climate.[11] The dry season is short, from February to April, but even in these months precipitation is observed, averaging about 45 millimetres (1.8 in) of rain per month. The wet season is lengthy, covering most of the months, with September and October being the wettest months, when precipitation averages over 240 millimetres (9.4 in). Thunderstorms can occasionally occur during the wet season.[12] Temperatures tend to remain stable with little variation from month to month though the temperatures are cooler from December to February with the coolest month averaging 22.9 °C (73.2 °F). Owing to its proximity to the sea, the island is fairly humid, with an average humidity of 83%.[12] The wettest recorded month was October 1980 with 792 millimetres (31.2 in) of precipitation and the wettest recorded day was June 19, 1975, with 281 millimetres (11.1 in).[12] Extremes range from 9.2 °C (48.6 °F) on January 18, 1977 to 39.2 °C (102.6 °F). At El Cielo, named after heaven itself, marvel at the starfish that decorate the sandy ocean floor. This sandbank in the southwestern tip of Cozumel is an incredibly beautiful spot with turquoise waters and shallow areas where the starfish are known to gather. The water depth at Cielo is very shallow, usually only waist deep, and is known as a sandbar. El Cielo is only accessible by boat and is about a half mile from the coast. The powder white sand will massage your feet every step you take.
For the next part of your Cozumel tour to Colombia Reef, a sublime snorkeling spot hailed as one of the Marine National Park's finest. Mild currents greet you in a protected bay like area where the shallow coral heads rise around 10-30 feet above the sandy ocean floor. Situated near Colombia Lagoon this area sometimes gets cool, fresh water coming from the lagoon. With excellent visibility and diverse variety of marine life, Colombia Reef is a perfect place to spot sea turtles, coral communities, barracudas, eagle rays and schools of shimmering fish.
