Cozumel Kiteboarding Tournament Competition Cozumel Mexico Kitesurfing CozumelCruiseExcursions.NET
Cozumel is quickly gaining steam as one of the world's top kiting destinations. What stands out when considering Cozumel as a riding destination is the variety of riding venues (flat water, chop or waves) as well as friendly and helpful locals
Cozumel is known for its great accommodations, attractions, scuba diving, snorkeling, beaches, crystal clear water, and of course its authentic food from top restaurants and entertaining nightlife. There are plenty of alternate activities for non-kiters on no-wind days. If you're traveling with a mix of kiters and non-kiters, you don't want to travel to a place with nothing to do but kiteboard. Thats why traveling to Cozumel Mexico has the perks of great riding and the bonus of everything else Cozumel has to offer. The riding in Cozumel covers all aspects of the kite boarding sport, from butter-flat slicks to open-water touring or freestyle, to side or side-onshore surf conditions, all within a short drive from the same accommodations.

Cozumel Snuba Adventure
While in Cozumel we got to Snuba shore excursion. Snuba is like both snorkeling and diving only you don;t have to wear the oxygen tank. Your respirator has about a 20' line that's attached to a raft holding the tanks. This is a great way to dive, your just limited on the depth. We absolutely enjoyed this fun activity and look forward to doing it again!
Our excursion was booked through Norwegian Cruise Line for Sand Dollar Sports Snuba. The folks at Sand Dollar were all very friendly and helpful, and even spend about 10-15 minutes teaching everyone how to snuba.
If you visit Cozumel, give this a try!
The TUCAN Cozumel, Mexico 04/09/2011
Although there are two ways to spell it, the spelling that I chose in the previous, THE TOUCAN video was incorrect. It should have been THE TUCAN. This video is exactly the same as the previous one, except for the correct spelling this time: THE TUCAN. Now I can sleep at night.

Cozumel's clear turquoise waters and powdery sands coax travelers from cold winter climates to this roughly 185-square-mile island off the Yucatán Peninsula. Cruise ships are a constant feature of Cozumel's coastal views, and the atmosphere on this charming island is often interrupted by tourist chatter. In fact, Cozumel's charms are so effective that the shopping plazas along the waterfront stay congested much of the year.
This island is probably best known for two things: coral reefs and cruise ships. Travelers love this destination's brilliant blue water and laid-back beaches, plus its abundance of water sports activities. Numerous outfitters and resorts offer kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear. But Cozumel is also a quiet place to learn about Mayan culture and relax on the beach with a good book. For a dose of history, visit the island's San Gervasio and El Cedral ruins.

Nachi Cocom Cozumel Cruise Tour (2018)
Nachi Cocom in Cozumel, Mexico is a popular beach resort of cruise passengers who are spending the day the Western Caribbean.
The all-inclusive resort had a nice beach, a pool, hot tub, and a nice selection of food to choose from.
A benefit of booking Nachi Cocom is that they cap the resort once a maximum number of guests have booked it. So it's good to book this tour as soon as you realize you want to go. It is $55 per adult and $35 per child.
You do pay a 20% deposit when you book the resort, that is taken off the final price once you get there. You pay in full when you arrive at the resort. You can either pay with cash or credit card.
Read a full review with photos here:
The cruise lines do not offer a tour to Nachi Cocom, you need to book it yourself.
Since the beach resort focused on cruise guests, they know when the ship is leaving and they will make sure you find your way back to the direction of the ship so you make it back.
The beach club is about a 10-minute taxi ride from the pier. The taxi rates are regulated by the local authorities in Cozumel so you don't have to worry about paying too much. It's good to find a group of people on the ship because it's cheaper to split the cost of the taxi. The vans can hold up to six or eight people.
