Accessible Powys Golf at Cradoc Golf Club
The Disabled Golf Society is divided into different areas of the UK and the co-ordinator for Wales is Nicki Jones. Existing members cover a wide range of disabilities and ages including a Junior section. The society provides information on accessibility at courses, tuition and adaptations for equipment including buggies.
New members are warmly welcomed so whether you have played golf before or like our researcher you are new to the sport, it is a great way to learn or improve a skill with the added bonus of the camaraderie of team members who also have an understanding of easier access needs and some stunning scenic backdrops.

Possible 6th Green Alterations
Llandrindod Wells Golf Club plans to possibly amend the 6th green. The initial idea is to return it to its former shape as designed by Harry Vardon and James Braid. The main change would be the removal of the boards containing the green and to reinstate the old ditch that ran in front of the green. The drawings produced so far are just early proposals and the club are asking for the input of the members to help form the final decision.
