My name is Zamian Parsons and I absolutely love Victoria BC. It seems like more and more people are discovering the great lifestyle afforded here as the population has exploded in the last 20 years, and I feel so fortunate to have this amazing job of helping people with typically their largest asset. My father became a Realtor in 2001, and after being his assistant for a number of years, I earned my license in 2006 and haven't looked back.
I have met so many amazing people over the years and even though I could go on and on and on about all the awards I've won, I'd rather focus on the rewarding aspects of meeting awesome humans and helping them achieve their goals. If you are looking for an honest, hardworking and all around decent person, I would love to hear from you!
Have an awesome day :)

Is It Haunted ??? | Canada's Best Castle | The Most historic Castle In Victoria
Hello Viewers,
Welcome to another LonDutch Video. This time we go see my grandmother at the Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria, BC, Canada. This place has been on my bucket list for a visit for years and I'm glad I finally got to go see the place.
Some facts on the Craigdarroch Castle:
Craigdarroch Castle is a definitively Victorian experience. It is a shining example of a “bonanza castle” — massive houses built for entrepreneurs who became wealthy during the industrial age. In this case, the industrialist was Robert Dunsmuir, a Scottish immigrant who made his fortune from Vancouver Island coal.
This legendary Victorian mansion, built between 1887 and 1890 on a hill overlooking the City of Victoria, announced to the world that Robert Dunsmuir was the richest and most important man in Western Canada.
He died in 1889, leaving his entire estate to his wife Joan, who lived in the Castle until her death in 1908.
The immense fortune of the Dunsmuir family is reflected in the four floors of exquisite stained glass windows, intricate woodwork and fabulous Victorian-era furnishings.

Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Yes, Victoria, British Columbia has a castle. Craigdarroch Castle was built by a husband for his wife but unfortunately she died before they could move in. If you come to Vancouver Island it's worth at least walking around. They hold theater performances there quite regularly.

Ghost Box Session at Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria BC Canada - 13 May 2019

*Better results with some of the replies if you wear headphones or ear buds* (PROTECT YOUR HEARING! start volume lower :)
I conducted a ghost box session at Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria BC around midnight on 13 May 2019. Google the Dunsmuir family and the castle. I had a list of names and dates etc., before starting the session. Robert can be heard a few times at least. My name and family names could also be heard.
I made a pronunciation error. It's a Scottish name and architecture. It's actually pronounced Craig Derek.

Craigdarroch Castle & View of Victoria from the Tower British Columbia Canada
Us at Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria Britiah Columbia. This castle has 39 rooms and over 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2). It was constructed in the 1890s as a family residence for the wealthy coal baron Robert Dunsmuir and his wife Joan. Robert died in April 1889, more than a year before construction on the castle was completed. His sons Alexander and James took over the role of finishing the castle after his death. The initial architect of the castle, Warren Williams, also died before completion of the castle. His work was taken over by his associate, Arthur L. Smith, in 1890. James Dunsmuir also commissioned the construction of Victoria's second castle; Hatley Castle located in Colwood, British Columbia.
Craigdarroch Castle is believed to have cost as much as $500,000 when it was built, and included granite from British Columbia, tile from San Francisco, and an oak staircase prefabricated in Chicago. When originally constructed Craigdarroch stood in grounds comprising 27 acres (110,000 m2) of formal gardens in Victoria's Rockland neighbourhood.[3]
Upon the death of Robert Dunsmuir's widow, Joan, the Craigdarroch estate was sold to land speculator Griffith Hughes for $38,000 who subdivided the estate into buildings lots. [4] To stimulate sales during a slow real estate market, Griffiths announced that the castle would be the subject of a raffle, to be won by one of the purchasers of the residential parcels carved from the estate. The winner, Solomon Cameron, mortgaged the castle to finance other speculative ventures which failed, leaving him broke, and in 1919 ownership of the castle passed to one of Cameron's creditors, the Bank of Montreal.
The four-story Craigdarroch Castle still has lavish furnishings from the 1890s and is known for its stained-glass and intricate woodwork. The Castle is currently owned by the Craigdarroch Castle Historical Museum Society, which is a private non-profit society, and is open to the public. The castle is a tourist attraction, and receives 150,000 visitors a year.
