What once started as a homemade project in Dominic’s very own back garden has grown to be one of London’s most recognised and sought after alternative cinema experiences. Backyard Cinema is now a roaming, theatrical, cinema that shows a wide selection of films in a variety of iconic, unusual and immersive locations both in and outdoors around London. Often creating a physical world surrounding the movie using in-depth set builds, actors and live music, each show becomes a unique evening out, whilst staying true to its original ethos: somewhere cool you can watch your favourite films with great food, drinks and all your mates.

Shaylee Mansfield: Be Myself
Shaylee is a well-known child, who is one of two daughters in the beautiful family on a favorite Facebook page - ASL Nook.
Shaylee was exposure by all facial expression, sign languages, goes on. With the exposures she had that is what makes her unique today. She's incredibly good at showing her facial expression, expressing her feeling/thoughts/stories/songs with the Deaf community.
Now, Shaylee would like to share her wise words with you all.
She believes being yourself is the most important you can do in your life. Be yourself because ‘who you are’ is what makes you unique person. Don’t try to be like others. If you want to be weird, then be weird. It’s your journey, so you have the power to create your story. It's not necessary to copy others. It's you; you're special. Express yourself fully. Show who you are. People out there will love what you do, who you are, etc. Facial expression is her strong feature, so she continually shows it to people. Thus, people love her facial expressions. You do the same!
She knows she’s a beautiful person, so that’s why she does whatever she truly wants to be. She can do anything! She wants to point out the fact you all can do anything with your life as long as you stay original and be true to yourself. Anything’s possible!
That’s the advice she has for you all!

Restoration (2003) - Rescuing Heritage buildings in Britain. Dir. Simon Mansfield
Episode Four of the UK television series dedicated to the preservation of rare and unusual buildings around the UK. This episode's candidates, all in the northeast of England, were Ravensworth Castle near Gateshead, Harperley WW2 prison camp near Durham and Wentworth Woodhouse Conservatory with Stainborough Castle folly near Barnsley.
Other famous locations covered were Hadrian's Wall, Berwick-on-Tweed, Gormley's Angel of the North statue, Alnwick Castle and Dean Clough Mills, Halifax, with a brief nod to the Episode Three contenders, Banchory Sanatorium near Aberdeen, Kinloch Castle on Rhum, and Burra Croft on Shetland. Griff Rhys Jones presented the series. In this episode, contributions were made by the journalist Kate Adie, historian Michael Wood and gardener Rachel de Thame. This was an Endemol Production for the BBC, therefore not my work and only uploaded for your private edification and enjoyment. I rescued the programme from a remarkably well-preserved old VHS cassette.
The sad postscript to this programme is that many of the buildings featured have yet to be secured. Following massive investments, the Wentworth Estate and (in 2013) its conservatory were eventually rescued but failed to operate profitably, resulting in its closure in 2017. Harperley Camp remains largely unrestored but for a very recent effort to restore the theatre building. Despite an ambitious revival project, Ravensworth remains in a ruinous state and on the English Heritage At Risk Register. Banchory Sanatorium was destroyed by fire in 2016.
It has been the smaller and simpler buildings that have fared better; Burra Croft now operates as a small island museum. Kinloch Castle on the isolated Scottish Isle of Rhum was once criticised for its dull external design, yet it may well have been its simplicity that largely preserved its lavish interiors. It continues as a tourist attraction but currently requires significant investment following ownership transfer from Scottish National Heritage to a local Community Trust.

Birmingham From Above Documentary
Birmingham From Above is a performance inspired by an aerial photograph, and was delivered in partnership with The REP theatre in Birmingham.
The performance was created by director Tom Mansfield, playwright Rochi Rampal and sound artist Duncan Grimley, in collaboration with a group of seventeen young people from Birmingham and the West Midlands. The performance explored themes of flight, industry and migration. It was staged in Centenary Square, where the audience watched from one of the Library of Birmingham roof terraces, and listened to the soundtrack on headphones.
This is a documentary showing creation of the performance. It features interviews with participants and leaders, captures their experiences, and follows the development of the project.

A Shakespeare classic performed by HND Year 2 students from West Nottinghamshire College.
Vienna, a city of corruption and scandal. Laws are lax and crimes are unpunished; even the Duke cannot enforce his own rules. So, what is the Duke to do? He decides to give his power to Lord Angelo as part of a cunning plan! It is Angelo who must now enforce the city's neglected laws and face the wrath of the people.
When Angelo decides to make a harsh example of a young man named Claudio, the virtuous Isabella must plead for her brother's life but is the price Angelo demands worth paying?
Performed by a group of travelling actors and a very outspoken narrator, Shakespeare's dark comedy dives in to the secret lives of the rich and poor, exploring some less savoury elements of human nature.

Meet - Enigma Dance Productions
* I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS MUSIC. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED TO THE MUSIC OF KASKADE*
To all of our followers, supporters, friends, and family, we are excited to announce the formation of a new company!
What began in 2008 as a unique and inspirational dance production, whose mission was to raise awareness and funds for Vision of Hope; a fund created to rejuvenate the 7 North West (7NW) wing of the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Canada; has now officially developed into professional dance company.
Inspired by the success of the charity event, Enigma dreamed of continuing to ignite hope, and staging productions that would take audiences on an emotional journey through life's trials and tribulations. As Enigma continues to evolve, their mission of speaking through movement will remain.
This announcement is the beginning of a new chapter for us and we cannot wait to share everything that we have in store. Having said that, we would like to invite you to our first official event as a new company! We have been so grateful to have such amazing support around us and we cannot wait to take you all on this new adventure. In the weeks leading up to the event, get ready to meet our amazingly, passionate and talented company members, along with who will be teaching the workshops, and many other exciting announcements concerning the event, and our brand new company!
