Peel Yalgorup Wetlands System
The Mandurah Estuary, Peel Inlet, Harvey Estuary and the region’s many lakes, rivers and conservation reserves form the Peel-Yalgorup Wetland System, which was declared of International Importance in 1990 by the Ramsar Convention.
The estuary is the largest and most diverse estuarine complex and the most important area for migratory and resident waterbirds in south west Australia. They support unique and critically endangered communities, including the thrombolites at Lake Clifton which are over 2,000 years old.
Bring your binoculars and grab the ‘Birdwatching Walking Trail Guide’ at the Mandurah Visitor Centre or download from visitpeel.com.au and start exploring by land, boat or canoe.

Dolphins Leaping - Murray River Lunch Cruise
Check out this great footage captured by our crew one of our recent Murray River Lunch Cruises. A pod of dolphins were having a fabulous time leaping about on our vessel's wake as we crossed the Peel Inlet.
On this half day lunch cruise you'll cruise pass the Creery wetlands and across the peel inlet which is the breeding ground for Mandurah's dolphins (who on most occasions join us for a free ride.) Upon entering the Murray River you will pass quaint homes and more wildlife before stopping for a delicious lunch at a waterside restaurant, right on the banks of the Murray River. The day concludes after a leisurely cruise back to Mandurah.
We still have seats available but they won't last long so call 9581 1242 to reserve your seat today!
