La plage de Rossnowlagh, d'une longueur de 3,5 km, est une des meilleures plages de surf en Irlande. De plus, elle a obtenu le drapau bleu pour l'excellente qualité de ses eaux.
Comme la baie a une forme d'entonnoir, les vagues peuvent atteindre une hauteur de 7 mètres, surtout en hiver.
Il est possible de stationner sa voiture directement sur la plage. Cependant, il faut être prudent car la voiture pourrait s'enliser à certains endroits et la marée entrante peut rapidement recouvrir la plage.

The holiday home is delightful, spacious, and enjoys wonderful panoramic views over the coastline in this beautiful part of Ireland - views that stretch from Benbulben, and Mullaghmore in Sligo all the way across Donegal Bay towards St Johns Point and dramatic Slieve League cliffs in south West Donegal
Luxury Accommodation
The coastal setting is best appreciated in the wonderful conservatory style living area. This lovely living space features a cathedral style ceiling and is overlooked by a minstrel gallery. The high ceiling together with large windows provide a wonderful sense of space and light. The living area opens out to beautiful dining area and a stylish modern kitchen. In fine weather the decking area to the front of the house can be used as a second dining area or for simply relaxing and enjoying the superb coastal views. The house also has a second living room and 3 comfortable bedrooms to sleep up to 9 people. The spacious master bedroom has superb ensuite facilities. There is also a bathroom on the first floor and a wet room style shower on the ground floor -- very handy after a visit to the beach. A garage is available to store equipment such as surf boards, bicycles, golf clubs, fishing rods etc.
Rossnowlagh
Rossnowlaghs superb beach is a short drive or a 20 minute walk from the holiday home. The beach is not only a top surfing venue but also popular for walking, swimming, kayaking, pony trekking and kite flying. Surfing lessons are available from several surf clubs / schools located in the area. This vibrant seaside resort has a number of fine restaurants including the Smugglers Creek, the Gaslight and the Sand House Hotel.
Even closer to the holiday home is the quaint pier and harbour at Creevy -- a popular venue for watersports and sea angling. The scenic Creevy Coastal Pathway passes around the harbour -- northwards towards Rossnowlagh and southwards towards the Erne Estuary and Ballyshannon. The historic town of Ballyshannon is just 6km from the holiday home. Reputed to be the oldest town in Ireland, Ballyshannon is located at a point where the mighty Erne system meets the sea. Today it is vibrant town with a good selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops.

The village of Rossnowlagh in Co Donegal is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday break. This picturesque village boasts one of the countrys finest beaches. Beach House is a modern 4 bedroom holiday home located on beautiful Kildoney Point - a small headland half way between the surfing resort of Rossnowlagh and the historic town of Ballyshannon in South Donegal. The holiday home is just 150 metres from the coast and enjoys wonderful views over Donegal Bay towards the Dartry Mountains that rise above Bundoran.
The holiday home is located in a small development of just 4 houses. There are 4 spacious bedrooms - 3 of which are ensuite. The ground floor has a living room with open fireplace. Double doors lead to an open plan kitchen, dining and living space which enjoys superb sea views. Glass patio doors lead out to a large fenced in decking area. In fine weather the decking area can be used as a second dining area or for simply relaxing and enjoying the superb coastal views. It is also a safe enclosed play area for small children.
