Crescent Street (officially in French: rue Crescent) is a southbound street located in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Running perpendicular to Saint Catherine Street, Crescent Street descends from Sherbrooke Street south to René Lévesque Boulevard.
Crescent Street is a popular attraction for both tourists and locals alike. North of De Maisonneuve Boulevard, one can find many luxury boutiques and art galleries in a Victorian architectural setting. To the south of de Maisonneuve the concentration of nightclubs, bars and restaurants makes Crescent Street one Montreal's most well-known nightlife strips.

In this video, I will show you the nightlife on St Laurent Blvd from 12:00 to 03:00 am. Filming during night hours is challenging, but a cup of coffee always does the trick. There were a lot more people in St Laurent Blvd compared to Crescent Street. The most popular destination on St Laurent is Le Rouge Bar. Enjoy!

Crescent Street, for decades has been the destination for race fans during the Grand Prix weekend. This downtown street is the epicenter for nightlife in Montreal and home of the Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival.

Ste-Catherine Street is the most famous walking street in downtown Montreal. There are many different attractions from from bars to restaurants to retail stores and boutiques. Lots of people and excitement any season of the year.

Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival
Crescent Street, between Sherbrooke Street and Saint Catherine Street, for decades has been the destination for race fans during the Grand Prix weekend. This downtown street is the epicenter for nightlife in Montreal and home of the Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival, June 4, 5 and 6, 2015.
Ever since 1999, the Festival has transformed the street into a free venue for race aficionados, tourists and Montrealers to celebrate the biggest race in Canada. Every night, there are live performances on the main stage by top Canadian bands. The stage also draws crowds with driver appearances, autograph sessions and DJs mixing the hottest music all day long.
The stage acts are just the beginning of the entertainment, as the Festival brings numerous activities such as racing simulators, race car displays etc.

I've never really had a thing for cars. And I don't really like big crowds. So the Grand Prix Weekend in Montreal is just the place for me! I decided to do a short tour of the street festival on Crescent. It was fun. In very small doses. Although there is something about VR that makes me really, really nauseous. Enjoy! Peace out! Saint Catherine Street (French: rue Sainte-Catherine) (11.2 km or 7.0 mi) is the primary commercial artery of Downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It crosses the central business district from west to east, beginning at the corner of Claremont Avenue and de Maisonneuve Boulevard in the city of Westmount, traversing the borough of Ville-Marie, and ending on Notre-Dame Street just east of Viau Street in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve.
The street runs parallel to the largest segments of Montreal's underground city. The series of interconnected office tower basements and shopping complexes that make up this main thoroughfare lie immediately north of the street.
Educational institutions located on or near the street include Concordia University, McGill University, Université du Québec à Montréal, Dawson College and LaSalle College.
