Creswell Crags - Oldest Prehistoric Cave Art in Britain, Museum and Crags.
The Crags were inhabited post Ice age pre next ice age..from people who came across Doggerland, now sunk. They left when it got cold. They left bones and Art..probably not much different to us, then. The Horse's Head is the oldest Human Art in Britain, inside the caves have recently been discovered cave drawings, and also witch marks from the medieval period, to keep evil at bay. It's ancient, people lived here when the rest of Britain was still in an ice age. Hyenas, Lions, Rhinoceros, Ibis, and Bears lived here too. Not many of those these days.

Me and Lee investigated creswell crags where they recently found and witches marks meaning something must have been seen many years ago as they date from the 17th century and right up until the 19th century
We wanna know why the one cave was protected not the others?
We have a lot of respect for this place and we do not encourage vandals
And what did someone see that was so scary that a protection was put on it ?

Creswell Crags is a limestone gorge honeycombed with caves and smaller fissures. Stone tools and animal remains found in the caves by archaeologists provide evidence of life during the Ice Age between 50,000 and 10,000 years ago.
