Currency
Britain’s currency is the pound sterling (£), which is divided into 100 pence (p).
Scotland has its own pound sterling notes. These represent the same value as an English note and can be used elsewhere in Britain. The Scottish £1 note is not accepted outside Scotland.
There are lots of bureaux de change in Britain – often located inside:
• banks
• travel agents
• Post Offices
• airports
• major train stations.
It's worth shopping around to get the best deal and remember to ask how much commission is charged.

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.

Crich Tramway Village 60th Anniversary Part 1, September 2019
After my overnight stop in Derby, I begin the second day of my trip with the short journey to Whatstandwell station, where I take the steep uphill walk to the Crich Tramway Museum.
The Crich Tramway Museum, located in the village of Crich is home to the National Tramway Museum, home to over 60 trams of mostly British origin running through a recreated street and out into open countryside up to Glory Mine, a running distance of around a mile.
In this first video we arrive at the site in time for the opening, taking in the preset photo opportunities with trams on display, before moving to the depot fan in time for the bulk of trams to come off the depot, and enter service for the day. Continuing to explore the site we take numerous rides, and with trams running every 6 minutes on an almost continuous service there was almost constant action. Part 1 concludes with a visit to the Great Exhibition Hall, home to the museums main display, detailing the history of tramways from the very beginning to the glory days of tramways in the UK, an amazing exhibition.
Part 2 from my visit to the Crich Tramway Museums 60th Anniversary weekend will be uploaded next Monday at 1800, hit subscribe to make sure you don't miss it!

Crich Tramway Museum - 21st September 2016
Well made my first visit to a new location, Crich Tramway Museum. I spent a few hours here but I will come here sometime in 2017 hopefully. Saw a few trams out and had two rides on trams during the few hours I was there.
Crich Tramway Museum is a tramway located near Matlock, Derbyshire. The tramway was built entirely from scratch and is a time capsule from a bygone era. The tramway houses not only heritage architecture, but also houses a huge collection of trams ranging from different eras. Some former Blackpool Trams have also made it here, after being cascaded when the Flexity Trams came onto the scene.
On the 21st September 2016, we see the various trams that were out on the tramway during we day. I also film onboard both the Berlin Tram and Brush Car 630 as we explore the short but sweet track. We also see the workshops and briefly inside the tram sheds, where the rest of the Blackpool Trams reside. Hope you enjoy!
Travel Back in Time - Crich Tramway Museum - 10th July 2016
On Sunday 10th July, we made our first visit to Crich Tramway Village and you can see our video above. Crich is situated between Chesterfield and Derby, and is home to the The National Tramway Museum.
The trams operate along a mile long line, which starts at Town End terminus. Town End recreates a period village scene, complete with shops and a pub. There are 5 stops along the line. At Town End, you will, amongst other things find a Sweet Shop, Gift Shop, Tea Room and Pub.
Enjoy the video :)
