The Crimean Astrophysical Observatory (CrAO) is located in Nauchny, near Bakhchysarai, Crimea. CrAO has been publishing the Bulletin of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory since 1947, in English since 1977. The observatory facilities (IAU code 095) are located on territory of settlement of Nauchny since the mid-1950s; before that, they were further south, near Simeis. The latter facilities still see some use, and are referred to as the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory-Simeis (IAU code 094).

The Crimean Astrophysical Observatory (CrAO, obs. code: 095) is located at Nauchnij research campus, near the Central Crimean city of Bakhchysarai, on the Crimean peninsula. CrAO is often called simply by its location and campus name, Crimea–Nauchnij, still ranks among the worldwide most prolific discovery sites for minor planets.CrAO has also been publishing the Bulletin of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory since 1947, in English since 1977. The observatory facilities (IAU code 095) are located on territory of settlement of Nauchny since the mid-1950s; before that, they were further south, near Simeiz. Научный – посёлок городского типа в Бахчисарайском районе Крыма. В посёлке Научный расположена основная часть «Крымской астрофизической обсерватории РАН» (ФГБУН «КрАО РАН»).
Гостиница ФГБУН «КрАО РАН» расположена в трехэтажном здании на территории Крымской астрофизической обсерватории. 36 номеров гостиницы способны принять до 80 постояльцев. Номера в гостинице двух, трех и четырехместные трёх категорий: «стандарт» – 19 номеров, «улучшенные» (или «полулюкс») – 13 номеров и «люкс» – 4 номера. В номерах категории «стандарт» туалет в номере или в блоке, душ на этаже. В номерах категории «улучшенные» (или «полулюкс») – в номере туалет, душ или ванна, в большинстве номеров бойлер. В номерах категории «люкс» – в номере туалет, ванна, бойлер, телевизор, в некоторых номерах есть дополнительно диван.
