Crimson Lake Provincial Park Camping | Journey Alberta
In this week's video I journey out to Crimson Lake Provincial Park, near Rocky Mountain House, to camp for a night with my girlfriend! It's my third camping trip in the last 3 weeks also! While there, we go and explore Twin Lakes, only a 5 minute drive away. Still in the provincial park, Twin Lakes was quite the sight, and I enjoyed walking on the boardwalks and docks. On our second day we venture down to the shores of Crimson Lake for a day at the beach!

Ram Falls Provincial Park Camping | Journey Alberta
Today I travel out to Ram Falls Provincial Park to stay at the campground there for a night! We have an awesome camp site and the campground was great. Our site was right near the bathroom and the sites were nicely spaced out from each other. While in the campground we noticed it is much quieter than some other places I've been to. The sites were nicely spaced apart and offered a decent amount of privacy. We ventured down to Ram Falls itself to take in the massive 30 meter waterfall. It's definitely one of those places you have to experience in person!

Crimson Lake Alberta park / campground Review
This is my first Youtube video. My wife and I were camping at Crimson Lake for the first time. We looked on Youtube for a detailed video about Crimson Lake and there wasn't much. We decided to make our first Youtube video. It was the week after September long weekend and the weather was still gorgeous out. It was so quiet out there because all the kids were back in school. We both enjoyed our stay so much we will definitely be back again soon to try out the winter camping. Next time I'll film in 1080p instead of 720p. This was filmed with my GoPro Session 5

The Best of Journey Alberta in 2017 (4K)
I visited so many unique places in 2017! Let me know down below what some of your favourites were! For me checking out Abraham Lake for the first time was an amazing trip. The annual camping expedition to Waterton Lakes National Park with my friend Jesse is always a highlight as well. Connecting with nature on my first solo winter backcountry camping trip in Kananaskis was an exhilarating experience. Discovering the Ghost Public Land Use Zone is up there too as it was such a unique area. I now have a new favourite Provincial Park location at the Dry Island Buffalo Jump. Also I went geocaching for the first time this winter in Calgary's Nose Hill Park! Look out for bigger and better videos in 2018, let me know down below what YOU want to see!
