Croft for rFactor 2 -- Lots of New Previews

feels3 has released new previews of his Croft for rFactor 2, the first major scratch-made track for ISI's new simulation.

The new shots show the track in a 95% finished state, feels3 is planning to release the track quite soon as he's increasingly busy with creation other tracks (including Interlagos for rFactor 2) so sim racers can look forward to enjoying this gem quite soon.

Located in Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England, Croft is a popular British motor racing circuit. Located on a former Royal Airforce airfield, the track is 3.4 kilometers long and includes 12 turns. Croft hosts both four and two wheel racing, including the British Touring Car Championship and British Superbikes.

Haunted Airfield Croft (HEADPHONES)

An experimental PSB7 session to see if I had to be physically present on an airfield to get the spirits from there to talk to me....or whether one could go to a nearby but related place - such as a memorial - and still get communications

This was a difficult one to do...at the memorial to RAF Croft at Dalton in North Yorkshire - it affords easy access to the memorial but is noisy with passing traffic, and as such the quality has suffered

feels3 has released his long-awaited Croft track for rFactor 2, adding a high-quality scratch-made track to the simulation.

Despite some small imperfections caused by rFactor 2′s beta state, he has decided to release the 0.9 version now and the 1.0 version once rFactor 2 goes gold.

Release Notes

- trees are temporary 2d bilboards, fully 3d trees are planned for v1.0 (performance reason)
- HDR profile is from ISI's track, new profile is planned for v1.0
- dirt layout is planned for v1.0
- animations are planned for v1.0
- temporary night lighting, upgrage is planned for v1.0
- 1% textures are from ISI's tracks.
- up to 40 drivers on track (24 + 16 garages / 24 pits)
- AI is very far from perfect, upgrade is planned ASAP.
- temporary replay cameras, upgrade is planned for 1.0
- no trackside sounds, upgrade is planne for 1.0
- performance, models and textures improvements are planned for 1.0

How to fit & wire a ceiling light. Change ceiling rose pendant. Lighting circuits explained.

I show how to replace an existing plastic ceiling rose/pendant for a modern metal light fitting or downlighter. How to fit and wire a ceiling light using wago 222 and wago 773 connectors with a wagobox junction box. I also show how to use a hager J501 light junction box to give viewers a choice of methods. I show how to wire the new light in place and I explain lighting circuits using simple wiring diagrams. I provide some theory and practical knowledge to wire a light with a switch from the consumer unit from scratch.

Stowe School

Stowe School is an independent school in Stowe, Buckinghamshire. It was opened on 11 May 1923 by J. F. Roxburgh, initially with 99 schoolboys. It is a member of the Rugby Group and Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. The school is also a member of the G20 Schools' Group. The headmaster, Dr Anthony Wallersteiner, was recognised as Tatler's Headmaster of the Year in 2007. The school was shortlisted for the 'most beautiful school' of the Year award in 2009 and was listed as outstanding in several categories by The Week magazine in 2013. The school is now fully co-educational and there are 550 boys and 220 girls.
The school has been based since its beginnings at Stowe House, formerly the country seat of the Dukes of Buckingham and Chandos. Along with many of the other buildings on the school's estate, the main house is now a Grade 1 Listed Building and is maintained by the Stowe House Preservation Trust.
