Crowborough is a town and civil parish in the Wealden district of East Sussex, England. It is situated in the Weald, at the edge of Ashdown Forest, in the High Weald Area of Outstanding National Beauty. It is 7 miles south-west of Royal Tunbridge Wells and 35 miles south of London. It has road and rail links and is served by a town council. It is the most populous inland town in East Sussex, with over 20,000 people.

CRAWLEY OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY ALONG NORTHGATE 17/07/12 (extended)

Huge crowds lined the route to welcome the Olympic torch as it passed through Crawley on its way to surrey and Kent.

School children in their uniforms, office workers, male and female from all of the town's multi-ethnic population were lined along Northgate Avenue as you can see in this clip armed with their smart phones waving Union Jack flags, blowing whistles and clapping and cheering the police escorts and other vehicles that formed part of procession.
