The total length is 112 meters, the lifting height is 52.7 meters, the inclination is 30 degrees, the operation is 0.75 meters per second, and the whole running time is 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Each escalator has a maximum passenger capacity of 13,000 passengers per hour. It was the first long-sloping escalator in Asia.

I take an afternoon walk through Chongqing, China, one of the largest cities in China with an urban population of around 18.4 million. Chongqing is one of my personal favorite cities, with a skyline that beats out both Shanghai and Hong Kong, a grungy cyberpunk atmosphere, and a plethora of narrow, winding, and chaotic streets.
