Hey everybody! Day #28 of my 2015 UK & Ireland Tour and for this food challenge I’m at Amalfi Italian Lounge in Darwen, England. Here I’ll be taking on their meter long Metro Pizza Challenge which had only been completed twice previously out of many, many valiant attempts!!

Amalfi Italian Lounge's Metro Pizza Challenge (£24):

The Metro Pizza Challenge consists of a meter long pizza loaded with the gourmet pizza topping options you choose from their menu. You may choose up to 4 different options for your pizza if desired, or you may choose one particular pizza option for the entire thing. Challengers have only 45 minute to finish everything on the wooden board the pizza is served on. Successful finishers get the meal free along with a t-shirt and their name & photo up on Amalfi's Wall Of Fame.The entire pizza weighs around 5.5 pounds depending on which toppings you choose.

I’m at Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill, where I'll be taking on their “Beast Burger Challenge.”

The Beast Burger consists of the following:
- 3 lbs of wagyu beef with 1855 angus chuck
- 8 slices of applewood smoked bacon
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 eggs
- A handful of fries (they’re not required to complete the challenge)
- 1 hour time limit

Anyone successful in beating the food challenge will receive:
- Free Meal ($35)
- Picture on Wall of Fame
