Grant Seafood Festival
One of the largest Seafood Festivals in the Southeast, and one of the longest running Seafood festivals in the United States. The Grant Seafood festival is one of the most unique events anywhere! With over $2 million dollars raised for college scholarships, an ALL volunteer army of 500-600 people, home cooked - unique seafood recipes and fantastic entertainment, its easy to see how this event has withstood the test of time for over 50 years. The Grant Seafood Festival happens in March every year for one weekend. They serve over 20,000 people per day.

We started at Long Buckby in nice mild weather and it quickly deteriorated at Nuneaton. Together with other rail enthusiasts we froze on the platform. Due to June wanting to be in the warm I guided her to a waiting room and had to keep going in and out as she hates being on her own. I got quit annoyed with myself at times as I kept missing fast moving workings. However it's something I have to contend with. We have no female friends who want to keep her company by sitting on a station for a couple of hours. However I was rewarded as we got back to Long Buckby as you will see.

The ZX Spectrum is 35 years old on 23rd April 2017, and it also holds a very special place in my heart, so it's time to wish it a happy birthday... It's the machine I grew up with and which led me to creating this very channel. I've covered the Sinclair ZX Spectrum in the past, but frankly I didn't do it justice, so we're revisiting Sir Clive's iconic 8 bit home micro in detail, starting with The Sinclair Years in this two part documentary.
This first part explores Clive Sinclair's early years, from his childhood to the formation of Sinclair Radionics in 1961, through the mini amplifier period, pocket calculator, black watch and finally his range of computers, starting with the MK14 and culminating in the ZX Spectrum 128k. We'll look at the people involved behind the Spectrum such as Jim Westwood and Chris Curry and explore other avenues such as the famous punch up between Clive and Chris in a Cambridge pub. So hold on tight, and let's get cracking with Jet Set F**king Willy.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is a 1963 American epic comedy film, produced and directed by Stanley Kramer and starring Spencer Tracy with an all-star cast, about the madcap pursuit of $350,000 in stolen cash by a diverse and colorful group of strangers. The ensemble comedy premiered on November 7, 1963. The cast features Edie Adams, Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, Buddy Hackett, Ethel Merman, Mickey Rooney, Phil Silvers, Terry-Thomas and Jonathan Winters. The film also has a short cameo appearance of the Three Stooges.
The film marked the first time that Kramer had directed and produced a comedy film; he's best known for directing drama films about social problems (e.g. The Defiant Ones, Judgment at Nuremberg, Inherit the Wind, and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner). His first attempt at a comedy film paid off immensely well, as It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World became a stunning critical and commercial success in 1963 and went on to win an Academy Award and be nominated for five additional Academy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. Despite all of it, the film had gone through severe edits from its studio, United Artists, for a shorter running time for its general release, against Kramer's wishes. The lost footage had been severely deteriorated and damaged throughout the decades and it was once thought that it was too destroyed to ever be rescued.

We were both really excited to see the Cloud Rainbow over the Ocean at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown RI. This was the first time I have ever seen one.
