Cu Chi Tunnels Tour-Vietnam
During the Cu Chi Tunnels tour, we walked through a tunnel (which has been widened for tourists), saw some of the bunkers and booby traps, and walked by a shooting range where you can fire guns for a small price. Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels helped me understand why the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong won the Vietnam War. They dug 70 mile long tunnels by hand and hid there during the day despite horrendous conditions. You have to have a certain amount of fortitude to do that.

Hi travellers!
The Cu Chi Tunnels are an immense network of underground tunnels located in Ho Chi Minh, Saigon. Today the tunnels are preserved and converted into a memorial complex. Here you can learn first hand what it was like during wartime in Vietnam. See how soldiers lived and what tactics were implemented during the war. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong soldiers during combat as well as for housing, hospital, food, and more.
I’m a bit claustrophobic and wasn’t able to climb through too much of the tunnel. But that tunnel was expanded for tourists, back then the soldiers were climbing on their bellies. The conditions of war is rough and it is very difficult for us to grasp what it was like with the present day historical site. But I hope the video provides you with some educational context and encourages you to come here to experience & learn for yourself. Respects to all the soldiers, both Vietnamese and American, that fought in this conflict.
If you’re coming to Ho Chi Minh, I absolutely recommend coming here. This is an important historic site to visit!
If you've made it this far, please help give the videos a thumbs up, thank you!

CRAWLING Through the Cu Chi Tunnels | Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam
This Episode:
Episode 65: We go on a tour to see the Cu Chi Tunnels, where the Vietnamese soldiers hid, and ambushed the American's, during the Vietnam War. On our way, we stop off to see beautiful artwork made by the (still effected) agent orange victims. At the tunnels we see the booby traps that the Vietnamese used against the American's, and then crawl through the actual tunnels that were used during the war.
Thanks so much for watching guys! :)

Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Business coach and world traveler Bailey Richert demonstrates exactly how narrow the entrances were to the Viet Cong tunnel system known as the Cu Chi Tunnels.
During the Vietnam War, the Viet Cong would use a system of underground tunnels to hide from the American military during day light hours. At night, they would emerge and attack. Today, you can visit the tunnel systems and see if you could fit inside.

CU CHI TUNNELS - VIETNAM
Video and photographs of the Cu Chi Tunnels in Vietnam taken by Eugene Taylor and Abraham Krikorian in November 2013. These tunnels are approximately 200 kilometers long and were hand dug by the Viet Minh and later by the Viet Cong using crude tools. The incredible ingenuity and determination on the part of the Vietnamese in fighting for independence and unification is reflected throughout the tunnel complex.

Follow Us on yet another episode of Jim flies solo! In our previous vlog, he shared with you his inflight experience aboard Jetstar Asia from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, he made his way to the world renowned Cu Chi tunnels which remained a great wonder to many today owing to how intricate and expansive this network of underground tunnel is! Jim had a taste of how it was like negotiating the narrow pathway and he ended off this wonderful experience with a few shots at the rifle range!

What’s Included In A Cu Chi Tunnel Tour? Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam ????????
Today we explore on what to expect in a Cu Chi Tunnels Tour when you're in Ho Chi Minh City. If it's your first ever visit, then you must visit the Cu Chi Tunnels in Saigon, Vietnam.
Welcome to Saigon, Vietnam! In this series of videos we're exploring the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for the first time. What an experience it was! Our adventure continues in search of their rich culture, history and local food favorites. We partnered with Onetrip to help us achieve this task.
Tour Agency : Onetrip and
Grateful that we had an authentic Vietnamese experience. We can honestly say, Onetrip organised one of the best tours we've partnered with thus far. Our second day in Saigon was well planned out by their team, an itinerary that seemed perfect for solo travelers or even large groups. As we always travel as a family, they ensured all our needs were met perfectly.
Visiting the Cu Chi tunnels was high on our bucket list. As a tourist, what's important is to take note first here is that, there are two tunnels operating in Ho Chi Minh City where tour companies may take you.
One of them is, the Ben Dinh tunnels, where most tour companies would likely take you - much closer to the city, but be aware, the tunnels found here, are mainly reconstructions or replicas of the originals, built to accommodate tourists who were more on the plus size / foreigners / western tourists.
We instead wanted to experience the real deal, and Onetrip was on point with that.
We visited the Ben Duoc tunnels system instead, famous with the locals, and most definitely, the most historically interesting site in the country, deserving of a visit compared with the other site usually offered to tourists. Yes, it is much further out of the city, but you will not find the site overcrowded with tourists.
We all know that the Viet Cong created these network of tunnels in the Vietnamese jungle in order to evade the American forces, and it was these incredible network of connecting underground tunnels that played an integral role during the Vietnam (American) War.
Our itinerary began with Onetrip organising an early morning pickup from our hotel and quickly treating us to a breakfast pit stop where we had wonderful morning ice coffee, banh mi sandwiches and local fruits. Our day two breakfast location was this time at the Hóc Môn District. Never knew ice coffee would taste that good, weeks after our return, and I'm still searching for a cafe to beat what we had here at this location.
Next, we visited a home based rice noodle factory away from the city. This was an eye-opener for us. Stopping by local businesses along the way helped us learn about the local crafts and industries. Though their production methods and machinery were not state-of-the-art, but we surely admired their creativity and hard work put in producing such incredible results.
Vietnamese food, history, scenery, culture, and local industries, we covered them all in just this one day!
Something definitely we would highly recommend, and something everyone should plan to do if you're visiting Saigon for the very first time!
Thanks everyone!

Do Not Book A Tour To The Cu Chi Tunnels!
For convenience sake many people will book a tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels with their hotels or online platforms. What many people most of the time do not know is that there are two tunnels found in Ho Chi Minh. The Ben Dinh tunnels where most if not all tour buses go is a reconstruction or replica of the tunnels that were built to accommodate big built tourists or western tourists. If you want to see the original or real Cu Chi tunnels better hire a private vehicle for your group or commute going to the original site called Ben Duoc!
