Bhang Lassie @ CU Corner
Scott, Dave, Rich, & Michael are playing 'Bhang Lassie' (by Rich Glauber) @ CU Corner
This is the music style or the musical relaxness I like, to be able to play and/or listen to music in/on a volume where people can listen and enjoy or just talk about their everyday happenings without needing to shout or saying what all the time. Its moments like this that cept me coming back to Chiang Mai for many years now. Music should always be an option to listen if you like, Not the only option to be able tö have a conversatione or relaxation is tö walk away from it.

Chiang Mai Lady Boy Show!!!
Had planned to take it easy but with markets and so many activities to do in Chiang Mai we ended up seeing a live band perform in a outdoor food festival environment. After that we ended up heading to a drag show located outside of our hostel called Ram Bar. Had a great time and was not as bad as I had expected.
DAY 38 - HOW TO GET FROM CHIANG MAI TO PAI (THAILAND)
DAY 38 - HOW TO GET FROM CHAING MAI TO PAI (THAILAND) // 17.11.2016
Hello there travel lovers !
We are Beer For Breakfast
There are a handful of ways to get to Pai
1) Rent a moped from Chiang Mai to Pai - £2.20 a day (plus fuel)
-also remember that you somehow need to accommodate your backpack.
2) Hotel Transfer - £4 each way.
You can arrange this from most hotel receptions. A van will pick you up directly from your hotel and drop you off at Pai bus station.
3) Bus station - £6.20 one way.
We chose option no 3 and we wouldn't recommend it as it took an extra 1 hour and a half.
For convenience, we would recommend option 2 - booking transfers from your hotel (if this is available to you of course :) )
Anyways Pai is absolutely stunning. We will be able to show you more of this idyllic little town tomorrow, when we have a full day of exploring.
Until then...
Cheers to freedom !

Chiang Mai jamming
Awesome experience with the night's performer in a traditional restaurant in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It was one of the most unforgettable memories I've had there. Shout out to all the Thai artists! Nice place, nice people ^_^
My fellow UPLB artists and I had a week long stay there for Maejo University's 80th anniversary. This was taken last December 9, 2013, during our last night's dinner with our MJU friends.

WHAT TO DO IN CHIANG MAI - SILVER TEMPLE
????Hi and welcome to my vlog. I am an ESL Instructor at a rural university in Southern China.
I went to Chiang Mai, Thailand for 6 days and one afternoon I explored the Silver Temple.
Located just outside of the walled city near the southwest corner of the moat, Wat Sri Suphan is nicknamed the Silver Temple (not to be confused with the White Temple which is located in Chiang Rai).
Considering the temple sits on a small side street just off of Wualai Road (which is where the Saturday Night Market takes place), a district known for its silver making workshops, it’s not all that surprising to discover it is clad in silver, this temple was far more impressive than I expected it to be.
The highlight of visiting the temple is to see the silver covered ubosot (chapel) on the right hand side as you enter the complex. This is work in progress and the covering of the chapel in silver (actually a mixture of silver and aluminium) is due to be completed in 2015 according to their excellent English website. It is very interesting to watch the silversmiths at work – they are truly talented artists.
The intricate silverwork is beautiful and very detailed, so spend some time looking at it up close to see the detailed scenes, especially on the rear of the chapel.
Woman are not allowed to enter the chapel – so luckily my husband took photos so I could see the beautiful interior, and yes lots of silverwork once again.
The rest of the temple complex is worth visiting, especially the main temple for the beautiful interior and the silver workshop to the left as you enter, where you can see the artisans and monks at work creating the silver panels.
