Cuckfield Village - Drone Flight
Cuckfield is one of the prettiest villages in West Sussex, full of beautifully kept old buildings and with a really attractive main street.
Cuckfield really has the air of the centre of a small town. Technically of course, Cuckfield is far more than a mere village. It's an independent state, with mayoral elections that defy all the norms of normal democratic decency - but all in a good cause.
One surprising thing about Cuckfield is how good the shops in Cuckfield are for a village of just 3 or 4,000 people. The area is undoubtedly a prosperous one and Cuckfield has a great selection of interesting independent shops.
If you're visiting Cuckfield, then it's well worth putting aside a little time to visit the Cuckfield Museum, which is upstairs in the Queen's Hall on London Road. The museum has displays about Cuckfield's role as a coaching station, local farming and plenty about Gideon Mantell and his historic dinosaur bone discoveries. Mantell found fossilised iguanadon bones at Whiteman's Green on the outskirts of Cuckfield, kick-starting the Victorian craze for Paleontology in the process.
And if you're looking for a lovely place to sit, take in a great view and contemplate the more important things in life, the well-kept churchyard of Holy Trinity Church takes some beating.

Valdoraptor - Video Learning - WizScience.com
Valdoraptor is a genus of theropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous. Its fossils were found in England. It is known only from bones of the feet. The holotype, BMNH R2559 , was found near Cuckfield in layers of the Tunbridge Wells Sand Formation dating from the late Valanginian. The specimen is damaged lacking parts of the upper and lower ends. It has a conserved length of 215 mm and an estimated length of 240 mm.
In 1858 Richard Owen referred a fossil consisting of a set of three metatarsals, foot bones, part of the collection of the British Museum of Natural History, to the herbivorous dinosaur genus Hylaeosaurus because of its size and bone texture. Owen had a lithograph made of the bones that gave a mirrored image: although they were in fact from the left foot, it now seemed they were from the right foot.
By 1881 John Whitaker Hulke had recognised that the specimen represented a foot from a carnivorous theropod. In 1888 Richard Lydekker referred the specimen to the theropod species Megalosaurus dunkeri but in 1889 he named a separate species for it because of the more robust build: Megalosaurus oweni. The specific name honours Owen. Lydekker was deceived by the 1858 illustration into thinking that it was the right foot. He also incorrectly assumed it had four metatarsals, a mistake repeated for over a century. Lydekker referred several other foot specimens to the species: BMNH 2574, 2661 and 2680 from the same stratigraphic horizon, and also BMNH R604d and BMNH R1525, uncovered from the earlier Wadhurst Clay Formation in the Hollington Quarry near Hastings.

Amazing sunny Brighton trip 2015
Great day out on a sunny Brighton. Includes the footage of the 30 seconds bull challenge. After failing the first attempt I knew I had to try harder. The second attempt was better and I managed to get the prize. Well deserved teddy bear for an insane torture.

Pelorosaurus - Video Learning - WizScience.com
Pelorosaurus is the generic name of a sauropod dinosaur. Pelorosaurus was one of the first sauropod names ever. Remains referred to Pelorosaurus date from the Early Cretaceous period, about 140-125 million years ago and have been found in England and Portugal.
Many species have been named in the genus but today these are largely seen as belonging to other genera. The first named species of Pelorosaurus, P. conybeari, is a junior synonym of Cetiosaurus brevis.
Pelorosaurus was the first sauropod to be identified as a dinosaur, although it was not the first to be discovered. Richard Owen had discovered Cetiosaurus in 1841 but had incorrectly identified it as a gigantic sea-going crocodile-like reptile. Mantell identified Pelorosaurus as a dinosaur, living on land.
The taxonomic history of Pelorosaurus and Cetiosaurus, as noted by reviewers including Taylor and Naish, is confusing to the extreme. In 1842 Owen named several species of Cetiosaurus. Among them was Cetiosaurus brevis, based on several specimens from the early Cretaceous Period. Some of these, four caudal vertebrae, BMNH R2544–2547, and three chevrons, BMNH R2548–2550, found around 1825 by John Kingdon near Cuckfield in the Tunbridge Wells Sand Formation of the Hastings Beds, belonged to sauropods. Others however, among them perhaps the present specimen BMNH R10390 found near Sandown Bay on the Isle of Wight and BMNH R2133 and R2115 found near Hastings, actually belonged to some member of the Iguanodontidae. Noticing Owen's mistake in assigning iguanodont bones to Cetiosaurus, in 1849 comparative anatomist Alexander Melville renamed the sauropod bones Cetiosaurus conybeari.

The Village 4K UHD
Waddington is a small village, 2 miles north-west of Clitheroe, within the Ribble Valley district of Lancashire, England. Before the 1974 county boundary changes, Waddington just fell within the boundary of Bowland Rural District of the West Riding of Yorkshire. It covers approximately 2000 acres of the Forest of Bowland.
It is home to both an Anglican church and a Methodist church, a social club (Waddington Club) with bowling green, a cafe, a post office, a playing field on which both cricket and football are played. Also, within the village there are three popular pubs, the Lower Buck Inn, the Higher Buck and the Waddington Arms. The village is a regular winner of the Lancashire Best Kept Village awards.
