Tour to mountain in Shaanxi Xi’an China | Vlog001 |
The Cuihuashan National Geological Park in Shaanxi Province is located in the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains, 30 kilometers south of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is famous for its natural landslide landscape. In March 2001, with the approval of the Ministry of Land and Resources, the Cuihuashan National Geological Park was established, which became a local research institute and school field inspection and teaching base. The park has beautiful scenery and peaks and caves. The unique landslides such as the residual peaks, the collapsed stone seas and the dammed lakes are even more impressive, and they all admire the wonders of nature.

Xian's first ski season
Getting off the bunny hill
A Glimpse of China 4K Time lapse
A Glimpse of China 4K Time Lapse by Renclif Media
In November this year I traveled to China with my wife for the first time, we visited Beijing where we experienced the hustle of the city with its crazy amount of people and the amazing history of places like The Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Tiananmen Square. The hutongs of Beijing also have the best food and restaurants and are just so interesting to wander through!
We then caught the Bullet train to the Ancient City of Pingyao where we spent a few days exploring the maze of streets, meeting new characters and experiencing the culture, it was like stepping into an old Kung fu movie set. Looking over the rooftops from on top of the city wall as the sun set through the hazy sky, was one of the highlights!
We then traveled further on to the city of Xian where we stayed in an apartment overlooking a busy street market. It's such a different lifestyle in China with people out and about shopping and lining up for food until early hours of the morning. The little handmade dumpling place always had the longest line, so we knew to go there for the best dumplings.
In my experience it's usually the more remote and less touristy places that leave an everlasting impression. For this trip it was the ruined section of The Great Wall at Jiankou that was the biggest highlight! Although it was scary at times climbing over rock walls and scrambling up insanely steep stairways, it was well worth it for the adventure and experience.
Being sick for 3-4 days was the only downside of the trip as this took away so much of my strength and I didn't have the energy or motivation to go out and shoot some of the places I would have liked to. This time lapse is shorter than I anticipated but I hope it still gives you a taste of the amazing place that China is.

Escape from Cui Hua Mountain! Go rickshaw motor bike!
After a long hike and climb up the mountain, it started to get dark. I was deciding at the time whether I should stay overnight to catch the sunrise the next day. In that moment, I saw a black object running at full speed before my eyes, and then I remembered the creature that was watching me from above on a cliff behind some brush earlier. Its white eyes had a penetrating stare, and I felt but only the determination to survive in that moment. Therefore, I went back down the mountain and jetted off via rickshaw motor bike. Too bad I wasn't able to capture this creature on camera. I was more concerned about going down than recording at the time. What a rush!
