The makers of Cement Suitcase took the set to the streets on July 3 in the state of Washington, filming along Yakima Valley Highway between Granger and Sunnyside. The shoot was more than the crew initially planned for, as Washington State Patrol and local police arrived on scene to see what the raucous was about.
A broken down picture car, some ripped pants and a property line lesson later, it seems that the biggest problem on set ended up being a lack of fruit roll ups. So, a pretty swell day overall.
In the end, the crew was able to film all the scenes it planned and put another tough, yet satisfying, day in the books.
