Le jardin botanique de Curepipe à l'île Maurice s'étend sur deux hectares et possède des espèces uniques de l’île.
Les touristes viennent y faire un tour souvent avant ou après avoir été au trou aux cerfs. Les amoureux, les familles, les joggeurs, les promeneurs, les écoliers se donnent rendez-vous au jardin botanique de Curepipe pou kas enn poz.

Les mauriciens n'ont pas l'habitude de passer du temps dans des jardins comme le font les français. J'ai l'impression qu'ils preferrent les endroits comme les shopping malls !
De toute façon, le gouvernement n'aide pas non plus. Nos villes manquent d'esthétisme tant dans les immeubles, l'architecture, les jardins sont inexistants et ne sont nullement entretenus! Les autorités délaissent les rivières, les lacs et autres voies d'eau. C'est dommage que les mauriciens accordent une si mauvaise place à l'environnement.

Mauritians are not in the habits of picnicking like many europeans do. They prefer Shopping malls for their distraction !
By the way, the government does not help at all. The local authorities don't take care of the buildings, there's no architectural landscape, gardens are inexistant and rivers are polluted. It's sad that the mauritian people don't take of the environment.

Curepipe Botanic Gardens (or SSR Botanical Garden of Curepipe) in Route des Jardins, Curepipe, is the second largest botanical garden in Mauritius.
It has a relatively informal layout, and contains a river, lake and the world's rarest palm tree among other attractions.

Trou aux Cerfs, Curepipe , Mauritius
Trou aux Cerfs , Trou aux Cerfs (also known as Murr's Volcano) is a dormant volcano with a well-defined cone and crater. It is 605 m (1,985 ft) high and located in Curepipe, Mauritius. The crater has been alternately described as 300[1] and 350 meters in diameter,[2] and is 80 meters deep.[2] The crater was formed less than 2 million years ago in the second phase of volcanic activity that created Mauritius.[3]
According to experts, the volcano is currently dormant but could become active at any time within the next thousand years.[citation needed]
The crater is only accessible down a steep embankment which is considered dangerous. Water and silt have clogged the crater, making it even less accessible.
