In this episode I'm cycling round Auckland City and Mission Bay.
I got excited about getting the GOPRO Hero 6 so decided to take it out and film an entire video with it. This video features a full run of the Central Auckland City bike circuit and then a side trip to Mission Bay and back. Spoiler alert *** I stop off for some delicious ramen and ice cream along the way :)

EPIC fixed gear bike race in downtown Auckland City, NZ
Red Bull Eye in the Sky was a fixed gear, track bike race around Auckland City, New Zealand. There were 5 checkpoints around the city and riders had to collect a token at each checkpoint. If a rider was running with a brake they had to visit a 6th checkpoint.
If you think these guys weren't hauling enough ass, skip to 6:40. What?!
Rainier Schaefer took 1st place with a time of 19.22min. And he hauled ass.

Cycling on the road – an introduction
This practical on the road session is for adults who can comfortably ride a bike in off-road environments, but want to learn the basics or be more comfortable riding on quieter roads. The workshop will cover basic safety and road rules followed by on-road riding including how to pass a parked car, turning left and right at controlled and un-controlled intersections, and navigating single-lane roundabouts.
