Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode
This week we leave Broome and have our sites set on Cape Leveque. We detour via The Mango Place for their famous mango ice cream which didn't disappoint. We would highly recommend if you are in the area
The next stop is Cape Leveque and we head off to Kooljaman. We stay the night for an expensive $55 powered camp site because that was all that was left. Its a very picturesque place and famous for the red cliffs, white sand and blue water.
The next morning we head off to Cygney Bay Pearl farm. Sorry about our stupidity with the camera settings :|
We got hooked into staying for the night and did both the pearl farm tour and the sunset in style which we would highly recommend. We loved our stay here and can't wait to go back!
We hope you enjoyed this weeks episode, if you did make sure you give this video a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven't already
Dont forget we also have an instagram account and we post photos of our travels pretty much everyday

Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm Campground Western Australia
Cygnet Bay pearl Farm Campground Western Australia. If you love camping and travelling and want to see campgrounds and their individual campsites in Australia, check out my videos.
These videos and website started off in the early nineties as markers and scribblings on a giant map of Australia on my games room wall of all the best places in Australia to go and camp, fish and four wheel drive. After many years of practical research as well as reading four wheel drive magazines and watching every camping, fishing and four wheel driving TV show (it’s been a harrowing and arduous task); I recently realised that come the time my wife and I can leave the kids behind and head off on a trip longer than a school holiday break; I’m either going to need a bloody big plastic sleeve to put the map in, or I’m going to have to drag myself kicking and screaming into the 21st century………
Though I haven’t been to every campground in Australia to video each one yet, I have done many in Western Australia and will continue until such time as I can do it full time and spend the rest of my life travelling the rest of Australia camping and videoing every campsite! It might take a while so bear with me…...

Cape Leveque, 240km north of Broome at the northernmost tip of the Dampier Peninsula in the west Kimberly region of WA. The region is remote with a number of small aboriginal communities and minimal facilities. Crystal clear turquoise waters and long sandy beaches meet the harsh red dirt of the Australian outback.

Cygnet bay fishing
Bit of shore based fishing on the Dampier Peninsula around cygnet bay pearl farm.
Was a good fun few days however not too many decent fish.
Cygnet Bay Camp
Cygnet Bay Camp
Bumping in the 4WD on the way back to Broome from base at Cygnet Bay
encounter with the bush fire, became smoky on the way
Whale Song Cafe & Campground @ Dampier Peninsula, North of Broome WA
Whale Song Cafe and Mayoor Campground are owned and operated by a young family, approx 175km north of Broome, at Dampier Peninsula.
Open June-Sept.
Six private camp sites along the Cliff Edge. And a short walk to the scrumptious organic cafe and beach access.
Fair trade Coffee and products. Amazing wood fire pizza.
Great mobile reception- 3 or 4 bars in most places.
No boat access from here.
Swimming an option- but be sensible and keep watch in the water- crocs live here too ( though usually only sighted during the wet).
Compost toilet and Fantabulous solar hot water Bush shower.
$20pp/night totally worth it for the view!!!
$10 for fire wood, or bring in own. None to be collected on the property.
Road access, requires some clearance and good traction as SAND, most of the way- 4WD probably recommended. We traveled okay, in Subaru Forester (Manual)- slow going, but worth the drive.
My preference definitely, compared to the CLOSE proximity of neighbours at Cape Leveque.
Falling asleep to the Whale's Song- what could be better than that I ask you!
