Limassol wine festival is an annual event that takes place around the end of August beginning of September for ten nights. This year the entrance fee was €5.00 for adults, with 20% off any 1 bottle of wine, excluding Commandaria from the 4 main wineries as listed on the retained half of your entrance ticket.
Children/teenagers 6 -- 18 years €3.00 (no wine).

No Visit to Ayia Napa is complete without some time spent at Nissi Beach. It's not only Ayia Napa's biggest daytime hot spot but one of the most popular beaches on the whole island of Cyprus. Every day from May until October beach parties is held at the Nissi Bay Beach Bar featuring some of Ayia Napa's best-known DJ's as well as guest artists and celebrities. Expect special guest appearances, dance contests, foam parties and all kinds of fun and shenanigans.
In early November the sun loungers are packed away and the watersports put away until April. Winter temperatures can reach up to 25 degrees so visiting Nissi Beach in winter is peaceful and calm.

Terroir and Tasting Cyprus Wine at Vassiliades Ekfraseis Winery
Vassiliades Expressions Winery makes Cyprus Wine and is based in Chandria Village in Cyprus (Οινοποιείο Εκφράσεις Βασιλειάδη in Greek). At an altitude of 1230m we had an ear-popping day at the winery, visiting Christos Vassiliades and his tasting room, and walking through his vineyard and his vines. It was a great visit, and stick around for the end of the video where we taste and rate three special bottles of wine. A Xynisteri white wine, a Mavro rosé wine and a summery red Mavro.
