I visited the D.T. Suzuki Museum in Kanazawa, dedicated to the buddhist philosopher D.T. Suzuki. It is a magical place with a peaceful atmosphere. When I went there in August, it was extremely hot outside and there were only a few people around.
The sound you can hear in the backround is from japanese cicadas. It's the typical sound of a japanese summer.

The D. T. Suzuki Museum, Kanazawa
Daisetsu Teitaro Suzuki was a Japanese author of books and essays on Buddhism, Zen and Shin that were instrumental in spreading Far Eastern philosophy (specifically relating to Zen) to the West.
Suzuki was born and lived in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. His life has been immortalised in the D. T. Suzuki Museum, designed by Yoshio Taniguchi.

These experiences can all be observed in the D T Suzuki Museum, the Shofukaku garden and the Kanazawa Nakamura Memorial Museum.

Yeah so I went by the other day and had a look as I was interested to see what it was like.
I have worked for suzuki at their Kosai plant in Shizuoka Prefecture so this little visit took me back to those days.
