Getting to know Daejeon, Its a nice city.
Expo Museums in Daejeon, South Korea
I love museums. I even have a Master's degree in it, so this will likely be only the first of many visits to this museum complex. I say complex because, in addition to a natural history museum and a science center, this area also has a whole building of VR experiences, a ride-able Maglev train ride, a planetarium, and a biosphere. Oh, and a statue park of dinosaurs. If you're ever in South Korea, I highly recommend the Expo Science Park for the day; it's less than two hours from Seoul and free!

Exit Daejeon 2019 kicks off Tuesday to support startups

Startups have always been recognized as a good way to inject vitality into slumping economy.
While South Korea continues to suffer from weak growth and falling exports, a special global startup festival kicked off today in Daejeon... as part of efforts to nurture startup companies.
Yoon Jung-min is in Daejeon with more.
To boost innovative companies particularly startups, Exit Daejeon 2019 kicked off on Tuesday at a convention center some 160 kilometers south of Seoul.
Around 300 participants are attending the event, which will run until Thursday, including 60 startup businesses and 50 investors from around the world, government officials and related institutions.
This festival will help startups in Korea meet foreign investors. Also, foreign startups will have a chance to settle down here in Korea through this event.
Our company has launched a new product this year. We are looking for buyers not only in Korea but also overseas. We hope to expand sales channels and attract more investors.
Renowend startup supporting organizations from Europe and the U.S. are taking part, including Slush, one of the largest nonprofit startup conferences in Finland.
During the three-day festival, auditions will be held in front of representatives from global startup supporting institutions and future investors. Three finalists will be given a chance to attend Slush 2019 in Helsinki this November.
Other events and conferences will enable networking among businesses, investors and the government,... while counseling for venture companies will also be available at the convention center.
Exit Daejeon 2019 aims to help Korea become a global hub for business innovation, with start-ups playing a major role in the country's economy.

We are exploring Daejeon, South Korea and wanted to try the most recommended bakery in the area. Sung Sim Dang Bakery, established in 1956, has a variety of pastries, breads, cakes and doughnuts. Make sure you try their red bean pastries, squid ink cream cheese bread and their seaweed with fish eggs bread. Yes, we tried them and we LOVED them!

This is very near of the ICD(Islamic center of Daejeon), opposite side of Homeplus shopping Mall. Traveler was 3 person Rajib, Riaz and Rio.
Cameraman was Rio.
You may go there by bus.
Take 102 from Jayangdong or Woosong University and get down when you see Homeplus shopping mall. Sorry, forgot the name of the place. After getting down go to opposite side of Homeplus and you might see amazing Tulip. Though very little amount of flowers, there has lots of visitors.
