Weekend Diaries #5: Picnics, Mukbang and living in Daejeon
Well another weekend, another vlog! I wanted to share a bit of my normal life here in Daejeon, South Korea. I've been exploring my city a bit more and still have so many places I want to go and see but as the weather warms up so does the possibility of adventures like this weekend! I had so much fun at the Korean Internation Social Gathering Picnic and adore all the people I'm meeting. Overall it was a chill weekend with some much needed rest on Sunday. Hope you guys enjoyed!

DAEJEON PPURI PARK DATE COURSE || Visiting Daejeon
Hello everyone, it's Nene Selene , and welcome back to my channel~
In today's video, I will show you a really nice date course around Ppuri park in Daejeon. In Ppuri park there are many things to do, such as visiting historical museums or ride a duck boat. Also, there are many places you can take very cute pictures with the person you like the most^^ You can spend your whole morning here and having a relaxing time. I didn't go there, but there is also a small convenience store where you can buy some small things when you get hungry from walking around and enjoying nature.
It doesn't matter if you go in the morning or in the afternoon, during a date it is a very nice experience to enjoy some delicious food, so I found the perfect place. Very close to the park there is a good beef Korean barbeque restaurant. It is very delicious and they serve a lot of side dishes. The price is really worth it.
The best way to end a date is to go to a cafe right? Well, very close to the restaurant and the park there is a small cafe with a very nice atmosphere. It is perfect to enjoy some homemade coffee or in my case, lemon tea. With some homemade cheesecake or chocolate cake

O-World Amusement Park in Daejeon Vlog!
Over Chuseok break I visited friends in Daejeon. We decided to spend the day at O-World, which is a small park mainly for kids. We rode some of the rides and went to the zoo. Would recommend if you're in the area looking for something fun to do!

Heat wave warnings issued in Seoul, Daejeon, Sejong City
'서울 36도' 폭염 오늘 고비…다음 주 장맛비
A summer heat wave is gripping the nation this Saturday,... with the daytime high expected to peak at 36 degrees Celsius in Seoul.
The Korea Meteorological Administration says... heat wave warnings have been issued in Seoul, Daejeon and Sejong City,... as well as parts of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do provinces.
The weather agency says... scorching heat in the central regions could last until Wednesday,... when showers are forecast nationwide.
Due to the heat, the number of patients suffering from heat-related illnesses are on the rise,... so make sure to stay hydrated and refrain from outdoor activities during the sizzling hours.

ON THIS EPIDOSE: It was a sunny day but the weather was super coooold❄️ I went to different places around Paju, like the Byeokchoji Botanical Garden where a lot of Kdramas and commercials were filmed, including Boys Over Flowers. Then I conquered my fear of heights by crossing the Gamaksan Suspension Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in Korea located at the Majang Lake Park. After a long tiring day, I visited a french themed town called the Provence Town and ate some delicious hotpot.

Tour vs Tour is a real road program that takes viewers to Korea′s most scenic sites.
Episode 9 is all about metropolitan cities, and we are off to Daejeon and Daegu.
First stop
Benji and his partner Gosia are off to Daejeon. They start at Daecheong Lake, where they play with the water roller, and enjoy a soothing experience at a beautiful arboretum. Meanwhile, Tina and her partner Roman are in Daegu, where they spend time with numerous animals at a ranch, and ride a duck boat at Suseong Resort.
Second stop
Both teams go to representative amusement parks of their respective cities. They ride roller coasters and have fun with drop towers. They also have a special mission. Who will win in each city?
Third stop
Benji and Gosia will be able to try mukbab after their mission. Following their meal, they head to Expo Park. While that′s happening, Tina and Roman visit a luxurious restaurant with a beautiful view. Where do they go after their meal to enjoy the night lights?
