I went to Dai Nam for the first time in Binh Duong's Thu Dau Mot Town and was impressed with their zoo. Though, it's not a world class attraction, it's a big step up for the country.

Then I had some awesome Pho at Pho Toan Tam 516 Thong Nhat Go Vap, Saigon.

Vietnam's Dai Nam Park: Disney World for Buddhists!

The largest amusement park in Vietnam is Dai Nam Cultural Complex. It combines rides, a zoo, the largest wave pool, and a cultural section that is a replica of the Hue Imperial City. It's a great way to spend a day. From Ho Chi Minh City, you can take the 616 bus from Ben Thanh bus station. It takes about an hour and a half to get to the park. Be sure to bring your bathing suit for swimming, and lots of sunscreen.

Just north of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC / Saigon) is the province of Binh Duong. There, the city of Thu Dau Mot sits quietly in an ocean of trees. It’s cathedral is matched in beauty only by the many Buddha statues all over the city. Just south of the Zoo on the north side of the city is Dai Nam Wonderland. Also known as Khu Du Lich Dai Nam. It’s a beautiful park built by a millionaire businessman to the zodiac and the Buddha. If you travel to Ho Chi Minh City, please take the time to travel north to Thu Dau Mot.

Dai Nam Hotel Ho Chi Minh City

The Dai Nam Hotel Ho Chi Minh City is situated right in the heart of the shopping and entertainment district. Ben Thanh Market is only a five minute stroll from the hotel. Saigon River is not far from the hotel. Guests will also find there is a range of restaurants and dining options within a short distance of the hotel. There are also many shopping opportunities not far from the hotel. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is located within a 30 minute drive of the Dai Nam Hotel Ho Chi Minh City. Public transportation services are available within the area near the hotel, including metered taxi services. The hotel can be easily accessed due to its central location.

Dai Nam | Vietnam Tour

One of the highlights in our Vietnam visit is our tour to Dai Nam Van Hien tourist complex in Binh Duong province which is an almost 2-hour travel from the city by bus.
It shows the rich culture,religion and history of Vietnam. The magnificence of the structures and the Buddhist temple was really breathtaking.
The tourist complex also has a zoo and a water park inside but there's a fee so we didn't go inside.

Khu Du Lịch Đại Nam Tại Bình Dương Lớn Nhất Việt Nam

Đại Nam là khu du lịch lớn nhất Việt Nam ta với diện tích lên đến 450ha. BUDDHIST-THEMED AMUSEMENT PARK (Suoi Tien) // Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Going to Suoi Tien, a Buddhist-themed amusement park, turned out to be one of the funnest days on my trip so far! My friend, Simon, and I ventured out to the suburbs of Saigon to soak in all the cheesy sights and sounds of this gigantic and virtually empty fantasy land. We admired the extravagant temples and larger-than-life statues, fed some crocodiles, and scared ourselves silly with animatronic depictions of hell. But best of all, we reverted to children in a very large playground. I cannot stop smiling when I think about that day!

What's a Theme Park like in Vietnam?

Suoi Tien Park in Ho Chi Minh City, is Saigon's largest amusement/theme park. It has rides for thrill seekers, a water park to cool off in, and some pretty interesting Buddhist attractions (including a haunted-house-like trip through Buddhism called '9 Floors of Hell').

Suoi Tien Theme Park is a great way to spend a day in Ho Chi Minh City. It doesn't have the crazy roller coasters that you'll find in western theme parks, but it entertains you and intrigues you in a whole other way.

To visit the park, take bus #53 from the station in front of Ben Thanh Market. The ride will take about an hour and 15 minutes.
