The Dallas Arts District, located in Downtown Dallas, is one of the largest of its kind in the United States. Covering 68 acres, the Dallas Arts District is home to some of Dallas' most significant cultural landmarks including buildings designed by four Pritzker Prize-winning architects. Our creative team was challenged to visually present in five minutes thirty years of effort by some of Dallas' leading citizens to construct one of the finest arts districts in the United States.
This piece of visual art opens with a glimpse of the artistic strength of the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, featuring dancer Jamie Thompson. The Dallas Black Dance Theatre is the oldest, continuously operating professional dance company in Dallas.
The Crow Collection of Asian Art is a permanent set of galleries dedicated to the arts and cultures of China, Japan, India and Southeast Asia.
The Dallas Museum of Art, or DMA, offers world class exhbitions and eductional opportunities. Every Thursday evening there are live jazz concerts, dinner and drinks in the cafe, and artist encounters in the Center for Creative Connections. Once a month the DMA is open until midnight with performances, concerts, readings, film screenings, tours and family programs.
The Dallas Opera performs at The Winspear Opera House at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. We had the pleasure of capturing the essence of the Dallas Opera under the direction of Music Director Graeme Jenkins recently in this masterful visual presentation.
The Meyerson Symphony Center, designed by I.M. Pei, is a magnet for the finest artistic talent, such as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Musical Director Jaap van Zweden.
The Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre is one of the world's most innovative theatre facilities. The 12-level building features a groundbreaking design with an unprecedented stacked, vertically organized facility that completely rethinks the traditional form of theatre. The Wyly Theatre was designed by frequent TEDxSMU speaker, Joshua Prince-Ramus, and Pritzker Prize winner Rem Koolhaas.
The Nasher Sculpture Center is one of the few institutions in the world devoted to the exhibition, study, and preservation of modern sculpture. The Sculpture Center, designed by Pritzker Prize winner Renzo Piano, is the home of the world renowned Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection of modern and contemporary sculpture.

Events
The most notable event held in Dallas is the State Fair of Texas, which has been held annually at Fair Park since 1886. The Dallas metropolitan area is home to six major league sports teams: the Dallas Cowboys (National Football League), Dallas Mavericks (National Basketball Association), Texas Rangers (Major League Baseball), Dallas Stars (National Hockey League), FC Dallas (Major League Soccer), and Dallas Wings (Women's National Basketball Association).
The Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League play in nearby Arlington, Texas. Since joining the league as an expansion team in 1960, the Cowboys have enjoyed substantial success, advancing to eight Super Bowls and winning five; according to profootballreference.com, as of the end of the 2009 season they were the winningest active NFL franchise. Established in 1967, named the Museum of Biblical Art in 1999, the MBA, is an art museum in Dallas, Texas that is unlike any museum in the world. It has a simple mission: To display art with a Biblical theme. Nothing of its size exists in the United States, making it a treasure trove for art enthusiasts. Diverse types of art are exhibited including bronze sculpture installations, drawings, fine prints, and oil paintings. Specialized galleries have been created for Biblical Archaeology, Jewish Art, Religious Architecture, Israeli Art, African American Art and Hispanic Art.

KLYDE WARREN PARK, DALLAS, TEXAS, USA - CRYSTAL FOUNTAINS
Freeways throughout the United States have, historically, carved deep, long-lasting lines of separation between countless communities. We know -overwhelmingly- that our urban freeways were routed through low-income neighborhoods. Instead of connecting us to each other, highway decision makers separated us, noted U.S Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx. A new, more convenient, high speed thoroughfare had been created, but the way of life of another community had been destroyed. In response to recognizing this harm caused, communities across the country are working to combat the division by building under, over and sometimes directly on top of freeways. One of the leading efforts to this end is seen in Klyde Warren Park, a 5.2 acre park built to sit like a 'lid' atop a 3-block section of the Woodall Rogers Freeway in Dallas, Texas.
Klyde Warren Park now connects the separated communities, with its design to maximize flexibility and pedestrian accessibility, The park’s open layout allows it to accommodate a variety of attractions through its mix of active and passive spaces, and now effectively connects the city’s flourishing arts district with the downtown core. The area provides for an energetic hub for activities and cultural events for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
In addition to free weekly programming like yoga, film screenings and concerts, the park also includes a children’s play area, reading room, botanical garden, dog park, a restaurant, a performance pavilion, and several fountain plazas. When combined with the surrounding rejuvenated urban space, this plethora of entertainment alternatives has made Klyde Warren Park one of the most popular destinations in downtown Dallas, welcoming more than 1 million guests per year since it opened.
Given Dallas’ humid climate, considerable emphasis was placed on providing guests with a source of thermal comfort during the design of the park. To that end, four highly interactive water features were incorporated into Klyde Warren to provide accessible relief from the Texas heat while encouraging a sense of play. Crystal provided fountain equipment for each of the four features.
The largest water feature in the park, Moody Plaza, contains numerous dynamite blasts that produce thick columns of aerated, frothy water. Located along the park’s central promenade, these jets encourage wayfinding and promote evening visitation when illuminated. Elsewhere, two fountains in the children’s play area have been specially designed for younger park patrons to enjoy. They combine plume effects, fanning jets, and bursts of fog along a winding pathway that sparks imagination. The last of the park’s four water features can be found in the dog park, where furry companions and their owners can stay refreshed and chase down bursts of arching water.
Often recognized for its innovation both in construction, design, and amenities, Klyde Warren Park has received numerous awards since its inauguration, including the Urban Land Institute’s Urban Open Space Award for 2014. Not only that, though, the project has led to an increase in downtown rentals and real estate values. There are even plans to extend the park further over the interstate, adding amenities such as a parking garage, a restaurant, and an ice skating rink. Klyde Warren is a perfect example of how a public space can help bring communities together, and improve the quality of life for its patrons.

We then take you back to one of the United States darkest day November 22, 1963 and the events that made up the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. We do make statements regarding conspiracy theories. We keep the tour small and allow a more in depth intimate tour.
