We enjoyed blueberry picking in Blueberry Country Southland at Otautau and Cherry picking in Dam Good Fruit at Cromwell. It was worth the drive on our Day 1 and Day 2 travel to the berry and cherry orchards. Had a fun experience picking blueberry and cherry with my family. The season of berries are usually from December to January-midFebruary. So if you want to pick some yummy, fresh berries and cherries, visit on those months!
