Lipton’s seat is a panoramic overlooking destination in Sri lanka. Handapanagala lake, Chandrika lake, Uda walwe lake, Wedi hiti Kanda mountains, and also the hambanthota harbor located in the in the southern coastal area can be seen remarkably.
Firstly you have to select the route either Bandarawela via Nayabedda estate or Haputale via Dambetenna Tea estate. Both the routes are fully fledged with lots of gorgeous outlooks, amid with pure green lush green plantations. For a broader and clear over looking, it is recommended to arrive before 10.00am to the Lipton’s seat.
By the way progression to the Lipton’s seat is narrowed from the Tea factory. On the way you will also meet St. Catherines seat and Lemasthota Waterfall. St. Catherines seat is also a overlooking point in the Nayabedda estate which will provide a unprecedented and a stunning view of Bandarwela ,Diyatalawa and the Uva valley to the Namunukula mountain range.
Actually Lemasthota water fall is not popular and concerned as a water fall among the community. This small waterfall can be seen on your way to Dambetenna from Haputale. March and August are the best months to enjoy and visit at Lipton’s seat.

Kellabokka Estate, 360' View Point and Tea Factory Visit
Kellabokka tea estate is one of the best tea estates in Sri Lanka. It is located at Kandy and Mathale District. It also contains a view Point called 360' view point which can see a beautiful view around it. It is located in the upper division of Kellabokka estate. This is a video regarding how we visited the tea estate, tea factory and the view point.
360' view point is one of the tourist attractions in Sri Lanka. The best way of reaching there is bikes and four wheels. The path is a difficult one. But when you reach there you will never regret. The view is amazing. Hope you will enjoy this video. Don't forget to subscribe my channel for more.

Driving from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, you could see numerous tea plantations along the way. You could also see ladies in their traditional Sari costume plucking tea leaves and humming at the same time. In order to minimise confusion, each tea plantation has its own signboard stating the owner of the plantation on it.

On your way to Lipton's Seat in Sri Lanka, you will come across a small and beautiful village surrounded by a famous tea factory and lot of tea plants in Sri Lanka. There are only few people live here and majority of them are tamil people.
The village itself is nice and pleasant. There is nothing much to see here, however I enjoyed roaming around while saying hello to nice people. You can reach to Dambatenne by taking a bus from Haputale town. The journey takes around half an hour with beautiful mountain scenes around. It is truly a scenic bus ride you should take if you are planning to travel in Sri Lanka.
