Danube rivers is the longest rivers in middle and eastern Europe, the rivers flow from Ulm Germany through to bordering of Austria,Slovakia,Croatia,Serbia,Bulgaria,Romania,Moldova and the end in Ukraine before draining in to the black sea.
In Budapest the capital of Hungary the Danube River runs right through the center of Budapest, dividing the city into two parts : Buda and Pest.
When you trip by boat cross the Danube rivers you can see a marvelous view of Fishermen's Bastion and the Palace in Buda on one side, through chains and elisabeth bridge and the downtown area of Pest on the other. The ships often wait until after dark to sail away since the city lights on the river are truly memorable.
This awesome city with great views

Budapest City | Day 1 | Hungary | things to do in Budapest | Europe Diaries | Cruize in Danube River
Budapest, the capital of Hungary and considered by many to be the Paris of the East, is one of the most culturally important metropolises in Eastern Europe and home to numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Although humans have lived here since the Stone Age, this beautiful city only formally came into being in 1872 with the amalgamation of three previously independent towns - Old Buda (Óbuda), Buda, and Pest - to become the administrative, commercial, and industrial center of Hungary. Straddling the River Danube, Budapest is famous for its thermal springs, some of which have been used for therapeutic purposes since prehistory.

Budapest Danube River Cruise 09 May 2018
I have never thought Budapest is this amazing. Cruisin' the danube river is an opportunity to see the beautiful sights of Budapest which most are on the UNESCO World Heritage lists. The Danube is the second largest river in Europe. It touches 10 countries and one of which is Budapest. Only Budapest offers scenic views along the river.
We did not join the expensive cruise. We just hopped on the public boat transporting local from North to South and return stretching the danube river that lies in the city. Fancy cruise could cost 30 to 60 euros. The public boat was just 750 forint or about 2.50 euros.

WHY ARE THERE SHOES ON THE EDGE OF THE DANUBE?
This is one of Budapest’s Most Moving Memorials: Shoes on The Danube. Sculptors Gyula Pauer and Can Togay created a moving memorial that sits on the edge of the Danube river. Visitors will see 60 pairs of rusted period shoes cast out of iron. Different sizes and styles reflect how nobody was spared by the Arrow Cross party.

A Short Walk Down the Danube River | BUDAPEST (Hungary Travel Vlog #002)
In this short walk down and around the Danube River in #Budapest, I go take a look at the stunning Parliament Building, a humbling art installation, Shoes on the #Danube Bank and also a cool little mid-river island near to Parliament.
The island I'm on itself doesn't appear to have an actual name on Google maps, but look for the one with the Franciscan Monastery Ruins on it near parliament. Sadly I didn't spot them first time round, and so I missed them - but I will try to come back when I return to Budapest soon.
For the bikes, download the MOL Bubi app from your phone's app store. Android and iPhone are accepted.
I definitely missed some cool things on that island. Unfortunately, I desperately had to pee, didn't have change for the public toilet, and had to go all the way back home. I am definitely coming back here to see the rest of the island, though!
