The pretty fishing town of Eden on the East Coast of Australia. There's an interesting Whaling museum here. Not many of those in the world! We also visited a couple of beaches and even saw Sea Lion catching fish!

John checks out the facilities for trailerboaters, species to catch and local attractions for the family including whale watching aboard Cat Balou cruisers and visiting the old Davidson whaling station. Of course an Eden trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Killer Whale Museum.

Set in magnificent Twofold Bay on Australia’s East Coast – Eden is the third deepest natural harbour in the southern hemisphere.
The region is known as the ‘humpback highway’ and every year, between September and November, our waters play host to thousands of humpbacks heading home to Antarctica.
Eden was home to shore-based whaling stations and Old Tom, the legendary killer whale whose story can be discovered at the Eden Killer Whale Museum.

A cinematic journey around Ben Boyd National Park, Sapphire Coast, Southern NSW. Notable features include Green Cape Lighthouse, the southern migration of Humpback Whales, City Rock, the Pinnacles, Haycock Point, Australian Fur Seals, Boyds Tower.
The park is named after the entrepreneur Ben Boyd who had a variety of interests in the far South Coast of New South Wales including whaling and farming. The park itself was established in 1971. Originally 8,900 hectares in size, it has been expanded to 10,486 hectares.
The park consists of two sections, on either side of Twofold Bay and the town of Eden. The smaller northern section is bounded on its western border by the Princes Highway.
The region is particularly windy, dry and cold, and the headlands are covered in a low ground-hugging heathland community of plants. Further inland, the heath is replaced by open eucalypt woodland, which makes up most of the park's habitat.

Eden and Twofold Bay - NSW South Coast
On the far south coast of NSW is the amazing town of Eden and the beautiful waterway it sits on Twofold Bay. A picturesque location and a fantastic location for trailerboat fishers. The views from various places around the bay are spectacular and you will often see whales, killer whales, dolphins and seals playing in the bay.

We left Victoria after 8 months there and went to New South Wales and explored the stunning Ben Boyd National Park. Which had an amazing viewpoint overlooking Disaster Bay, which is a very gorgeous deserted beach. Finally finishing the day staying the night in Eden.
