Relaxing in the Virgin Islands

After a long day on Coki Beach yesterday they were hoping for a nice relaxing day sail with great snorkel stops.
Turtles were on the list to see so we left #StThomas and headed right over to Maho on #StJohn. They saw several turtles and a sting ray. We then rolled out the sail and headed around to Scott's beach, still on St John. There wasn't much wind but we did have enough to fill the sail. They saw lots of fish and a small school of squid at Scott's. After lunch, Michelle hoisted the sails and we shot over to Christmas cove on great St James. The wind died on us but of course that means the seas were calm:~)
After anchoring we had our friend the spotted eagle ray swim close by with a couple of his friends. These ladies snorkeled for a bit and then enjoyed relaxing on the tramps some more. The ride back to St Thomas was smooth and gave them some more time for relaxing.

Quote of the day....during our safety speech I always say that we are shooting for it to the Very Best Day of Your Vacation. After saying that they said.....that's a big goal. Weeellll,we aim high....and most of the time hit where we aim!:~)

Castaway Cay | Disney Fantasy Eastern Caribbean Cruise | Day 7

Today was the final day of our seven night Disney Fantasy Eastern Caribbean Cruise and we got to spend some of it on Disney’s private island of Castaway Cay. After a quick breakfast we were off the ship enjoy the waters with some snorkeling and a few beach activities before the weather came in. They ended up closing the beach for a bit so we headed back to the ship to enjoy our last afternoon on the Disney Fantasy.

We spent the afternoon exploring the ship, playing the Midship Detective Agency game, and checking showing the boys all of the adult areas of the ship while they were still empty. After a fun afternoon we got dressed up for our final dinner at Animator’s Palate. This was our second dinner at Animator’s Palate which meant that we got to draw animated figures that would end up in the finale show shown around the restaurant. It was the perfect last dinner on the seven night cruise.

After dinner we returned to the rooms where the boys were surprised with captain outfits that they immediately put on. We did one last spin around the Disney Fantasy before calling it a day. We awoke to the ship docked at Port Canaveral for disembarkation day. We said our goodbyes to the ship and headed home.

In this episode of Sailing Nandji, We are preparing our sailboat for her first ocean crossing. Bonita goes up the mast for the first time to measure for a new headsail. We follow on from our last episode as Yosh fibreglasses and paints over the huge hole in Nandji where rot had been cut out of the deck. We measure up for a new sail bag and head to Kore Sails to make it.

Naked in Nature! Sailing Vessel Delos Ep. 118

Wanna know what paradise looks like? Man, this place is incredible! Take crystal clear water, sprinkle some pure white sand beaches around then put Delos right in the middle! No people no internet just us and thousands of birds. As we explored more and more of St. Brandon we found ourselves wearing less and less clothes. I like the way Brady described the feeling “it’s so freeing being naked in nature!” Being buzzy with treasure hunting and relaxing under the palm trees we didn’t pay enough attention to the tide and got stranded on the wrong island with a small ocean between us and Delos! Rooky mistake but luckily brady could come to our rescue!

This was a very unique spot and an amazing place to explore! Hope you guys enjoy!
