Safe Driving Course on wet and resin surfaces at the Autodromo di Castrezzato, Italy

Castrezzato Motorsport Arena (Autodromo di Franciacorta), Italy.

The driving course consisted of a theoretical session and a practical session.
In the theoretical session they explained us the proper driving position and use of commands, how to travel more efficiently and safely, how to respond in the event of an accident and they illustrated the exercises of the practical session.
The exercises of the practical session were:
- Understeer on a slippery resin surface
- Skid Car: Oversteer simulated by a carriage applied to the rear axis of the car
- Slalom between cones at close differentiated
- Emergency braking
- Differentiated braking on wet surfaces and slippery resin
- Braking with and without ABS
- Emergency braking to avoid an obstacle
- Skid control (slide machine) first with controls activated and then without controls

This was the basic course and it was a really fun and interesting experience. In the future I'd like to try also the advanced course.
