The Netherlands: Scheveningen beach - The Hague | Scheveningen strand - Den Haag
Scheveningen is one of the eight districts of The Hague, The Netherlands. Scheveningen is a modern seaside resort with a long, sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse. The beach is popular for water sports such as windsurfing and kite boarding. The harbour is used for both fishing and tourism.

Europe's first Ferris wheel constructed over sea (2016). Build on the Pier of seaside resort Scheveningen, The Hague, Netherlands/Holland.
The Ferris wheel (Dutch: reuzenrad) is over forty meters high and has 36 closed gondolas with air conditioning, including one VIP gondola with a glass bottom. Each gondola offers room for up to six people. Adults pay €9.00 and children under twelve pay €7.00. A ride on the Ferris wheel lasts 15-20 minutes.

Scheveningen in the Hague has a new attraction. De Pier was renovated and reopened in late 2015. There is a selection of Food, Drinks, Shopping and Adventure on offer. You can bungy jump with BUNGY JUMP HOLLAND. There are a number of food stalls in a food market / food hall setup and there are two restaurants on the islands at the end of the pier. There are a number of shops dotted throughout.

A walk on De Pier - Scheveningen - The Hague - Netherlands
This video shows you a walk on the upper deck off De Pier in Scheveningen, The Hague in the Netherlands. It's a real tourist attraction, with a great view over the beach, free entrance and lovely view from the Bungee jump tower which is about 45 to 50 meters above sea level. You can see our hotel the Kurhaus at 1:20 in this video. Whenever you're in the neighborhood, you should visit this. They are rebuilding it at the moment and I don't know exactly when it will be ready, but never the less, it's worth a visit. Update 2018: It's completely finished now, including a brand new Bungee jump tower, which is really great. Access still free, some great pop-up stores on the lower deck. Enjoy your stay here.

Just a short tram ride away from The Hague (Den Haag,) Scheveningen is full of attractions, and it's beach restaurants and pavilions are a great place to unwind as you gaze out to the North Sea.
We start our walking tour just along from the sculpture garden on Scheveningen Boulevard. We take in the atmosphere of some of the welcoming beach cafes before turning for a view of the magnificent Kurhaus - a five star hotel and health resort right on the boulevard.
We then explore the town's famous pier. Two decks - the lower one covered, full of stalls, cafes and bars and a great view over the beach. The second on the top deck, providing a great view of the Ferris Wheel, hotel suites, zip line and bungy jump platforms and of course, the wide sandy beach.

De Pier in Scheveningen is sinds 2015 compleet vernieuwd. De bekendste attractie aan de Nederlandse kust is inmiddels een ware foodboulevard geworden met een eigentijds aanbod van streetfood, restaurants, bars, terrassen, overdekte winkels en vanaf medio november exclusieve hotelsuites met panoramisch zicht op de Noordzee. Met attracties als het reuzenrad, Bungy Scheveningen en Tasty Comedy zijn er daarnaast voor jong en oud het hele jaar leuke dingen te doen. Ook zijn er op De Pier jaarrond festivals, culturele evenementen, markten, kidsactiviteiten en concerten.

Fahrt mit dem Riesenrad Scheveningen - Skyview De Pier an der Nordsee mit atemberaubendem Blick auf Scheveningen, der Strand und natürlich das Meer.
Das rund 40 Meter hohe Riesenrad von Scheveningen liegt direkt am Pier und gehört auf jeden Fall zu den Dingen, die man auf jeden Fall gesehen haben sollte, wenn man in Scheveningen an der Nordsee ist. Noch besser ist es natürlich, wenn man direkt eine Runde mit dem Riesenrad, dem Skyview De Pier Scheveningen, dreht.
Europas erstes Riesenrad über dem Meer am Pier in Scheveningen gibt es seit 2016 und mittlerweile kaum noch wegzudenken. Das Riesenrad gehört zu Scheveningen wie der Pier, an dem es steht und zählt zu den beliebtesten Attraktionen des niederländischen Seebads an der Nordsee.
Scheweningen - das größte Seebad der Niederlande
Scheveningen ist ein Stadtbezirk Den Haags, sechs Kilometer vom Zentrum entfernt. Von einem kleinen Fischerdorf hat es sich zum größten Seebad der Niederlande entwickelt.
Scheveningen besitzt einen Fischerei-Hafen und eine lange Strandpromenade mit Geschäften, Restaurants, Sonnenterrassen und einem Aquarium. Hauptattraktionen sind die Miniaturstadt Madurodam, sowie eine 381 m lange Seebrücke mit Aussichtsturm. Das Museum Beelden aan Zee zeigt moderne Skulpturen, auch auf einer Freifläche entlang des Boulevards. Das Kurhaus am Strand wurde 1884–85 erbaut und steht unter Denkmalschutz.
Heute ist Scheveningen ein international renommierter Ferienort mit zwanzig größeren Hotels, Kurhaus, Holland Casino, Fischerei, Hafen und damit für viele Tagesausflügler und zahlreiche ausländische Touristen ein Reiseziel. Einmal im Jahr wird ein Sandskulpturen-Wettbewerb veranstaltet.
