Daytime activities include habituated wild Meerkat tours on the reserve, farm tours, biking, self guided walk, canoeing, fishing and birding (162 species) stargazing in unpolluted African night skies. Spot the resident African Fish Eagle pair, subjects of a Western Cape Raptor Research Program at the University of Cape Town. At a neighbouring game reserve close by guests can walk freely among the African game. A historical sandstone church in the vicinity is perfect for a small wedding.

Plaasaanval buite Oudtshoorn
Drie mense is Dinsdag 1 November deur drie mans op die plaas Mooihoek naby Oudtshoorn aangeval en erntig beseer. Hannes Visser van die Oudtshoorn Courant was Woensdag op die toneel waar die polisie steeds besig was om inligting te versamel. Die plaaseienaar, 'n werknemer en 'n vroulike kuiergas is tussen 09:00 dinsdagoggend en 16:00 die middag deur die aanvallers gevange gehou en aangerand waarna hulle te voet gevlug het. Die drie slagoffers is in die hospitaal opgeneem.
