Rose Cousins is in her home country of Canada tonight, at the DeCoste Performing Arts Centre in Pictou, Nova Scotia, touring with her latest album “Natural Conclusion,” released on the singer’s own label, Old Farm Pony Records and produced by singer-songwriter-guitarist Joe Henry.
The Americans are out on a UK and European tour this November for their debut album “I’ll Be Yours” on Loose Music. Semi-discovered by the team of Jack White, T Bone Burnett and Robert Redford, as the main backing band on the documentary American Epic, discover them tonight for yourself at the Ancienne Belgique - AB in Brussels at 8pm.

A Christmas Dollhouse is a musical for all ages written by Vladimir Sitnikov and Cheryl Edgett, based on the novel of same name by Halifax writer Richard Rudnicki. It is based on a true story that took place in Halifax during 1930's. The story is a reflection of friendship, forgiveness, kindness, celebration and community at Christmas in Nova Scotia.
The production brings together a beautiful musical score, talented young cast, captivating set and costumes, brilliant musicianship and exciting dance by the Souvenir Dance Ensemble.

William MacLeod and Georgette Jones perform White Lightning
William MacLeod and George Jones and Tammy Wynette's daughter Georgette Jones perform White Lightning at the deCoste Center in the town of Pictou, Nova Scotia on Sunday, May 17th, 2015.
William MacLeod is the one that goes Wiisshhhhhshh, WHITE LIGHTNING and that goes to show that William MacLeod is sometimes known as the George Jones of Rodeo and is the true future superstar of calf roping at rodeos, painting and music and is also known as the John Wayne of Calf Roping.
Note at 2:21-2:25, that is when I throw my white cowboy hat in the crowd!
