Siberia - Antler trade
T/I: 11:20:42
Reindeer reared on farms in Siberia are having their antlers brutally removed to supply a seemingly insatiable traditional remedy market region of Russia sees thousands of reindeer suffer every year with their antlers being sold for around $400 (US dollars) a kilo. The extract of the deer horns is used in countries such as Korea and China for treating illnesses ranging from male impotence to increasing human immunity to illness. On one operation in Altai, Siberia, a brigade of 20 workers drive the deer to a farm which is based in a valley of the mountains. The antlers are usually allowed to grow for nine months before being removed in a process zoologists liken to a person being tied down and having their finger cut off. After a lenghty process of boiling and drying up which takes around three months the horns are then packed up and exported abroad.

Russia: Virile, but at what cost? Would you bathe in ANTLER blood to boost your libido? *GRAPHIC*
Tourists continued to flock to the sanatoriums of Altai in southern Siberia, Wednesday, to bathe in the blood of the antlers of Maral stags, as the antler-cutting season begins.
SOT, Vladimir Durnev, Veterinarian manager of Karym LLC (Russian): The water in which the antlers are boiled is used for having a bath. It is transferred through the water pipes.
SOT, Evgeny Kazazaev, visitor (Russian): These baths have amazing properties - they influence one's immunity. Your immunity is strengthened and you gain good health for the whole year. The cold leaves you, you suffer from fewer diseases and you feel strong.
SOT, Evgeny Kazazaev, visitor (Russian): I have been taking antler baths for years, it is a tradition not only for me but also for my friends who come here and who like it here.

Hunting HUGE Feral Hogs on Farm Land
Feral hogs populations have exploded in the last century across Texas. Farms and Ranches across the state are affected by these huge rooting pigs and to help control the population, many Texas hunters like me are hunting these feral hogs at night with thermal scopes and suppressors on their hunting rifles to increase the odds of getting more than one big hog.

Shooting Cats: Australia's War on Feral Cats
WARNING: This video contains graphic content.
In Shooting Cats, VICE set out to explore the consequences of Australia's feral cat plague, and confront the uncomfortable and violent realities of dealing with it. Most suburban Australians give feral cats little thought. But for residents of the country’s rural fringes, they’re a diabolical pest and scourge on wildlife. Found in 99 percent of Australia, they’re estimated to kill more than two million native animals a day. That devastation has seen Kangaroo Island local Barry Green declare a personal war against cats; trapping and skinning them, before turning them into hats and fridge magnets.

Russia - Tiger poaching
T/I 11:05:02 GS 10:36:38
The Siberian Tiger is facing extinction as poachers angling for
huge profits vie for the pelts and parts of the rare animals.
Rare and beautiful white tigers are killed and sold on the
lucrative Asian medical and fur market.
Local authorities have turned in desperation to the World
Wildlife Fund for Tiger Conservation. The WWF has helped to

where poaching is most prevalent.

The Private Life of Deer - Amazing Nature Documentary (HD)
The Private Life of Deer - Amazing Nature Documentary (HD)
Whitetailed deer seem to be always around us, whether they're grazing alongside our roadways, feasting on plants in our backyards or darting into the woods, though these neighbors do like to protect their privacy. While other species may be negatively impacted by human development, it is just the opposite for the whitetails. We as humans have created pretty much the perfect habitat for deer, explains Dr. Jay Boulanger, who coordinates Cornell University's Deer Research and Management Program. These are areas that have a wide diversity of plants that deer can eat, versus, say, a rural forest.
Just a century ago, there were less than a million deer in North America. Today, there are nearly 30 million. The Private Life of Deer looks at how these wild deer interact with one another, and how they adapt to living in a suburban environment.

Rescuing a Deer from Frozen Pond || ViralHog
Occurred on January 4, 2018 / Austin, Arkansas, USA
I was going out to feed farm animals when I saw a large dark spot on the ice in my pond. After getting closer I realized it was a small deer. I called my son and he sent my grandson out to help. He put on his waders and rescued the deer. We made a lean-to out of pallets and put straw and corn in it. Then we put the deer in it. The next morning the deer was gone.

Giant Turkish Wild Boar Hunt
Boar in Turkey are truly enormous and cause colossal damage to crops including rice. The locals don't hunt them - boar meat is 'haram' (forbidden) in Islam - so it is up to visiting hunters from Europe to do the job for them. Charlie Jacoby goes to Çorum in Anatolia with Jeremy Boyd, Claire Zambuni and Uğur Barutcu of Trofe Hunting Safaris. They try daytime driven hunting and go out at night for some real monsters.

Why shoot wild boar?
Wild boar were once native to Great Britain but became extinct more than 300 years ago. Following escapes or deliberate releases from wild boar farms from the 1980s, they have now established breeding populations in the wild including Kent and East Sussex in the South-East of England, Dorset, Devon and the Forest of Dean in the South-West, and parts of Scotland. DEFRA estimates the current population at around 500 in the established colonies. Local wildlife managers estimate it at nearer 5,000.
Wild boar are omnivorous and approximately 400 species of plants and animals have been reported to be part of their diet. Their habit of rooting through the floor of woodland and pasture leaves a clear indicator of their presence. They will take both eggs and nestlings of ground-nesting birds and can damage crops, gamebird release pens and game feeders. Damage to agriculture can also be extensive and concerns have been raised regarding collisions with traffic. Boar have no natural predators in the UK meaning culls are necessary to control population growth.
Wild boar are susceptible to the same diseases as domestic pigs and therefore have the potential to spread infectious disease such as swine fever, foot & mouth and Aujesky’s disease (Gow, 2002; Natural England, 2007).
