Today is Thanksgiving Day in Canada. Every second Monday of October, Canadian people celebrate harvest time and happy life at Thanksgiving Day. This afternoon we went to Deer lake Park in Burnaby city BC Canada. There are several attractive places in the park. For example : Burnaby Art Gallery ,Burnaby Village Museum and Hart House Restaurant. But today is public holiday. They are closed. Deer Lake and Deer Lake Place - Burnaby - Get To Know Real Estate
At the geographical centre of Burnaby are the neighbourhoods of Deer Lake and Deer Lake Place. Most of the Deer Lake neighbourhood consists of Deer Lake -- with a beach and picnic area, and canoe launch -- and Deer Lake Park, which has leisurely walking and cycling trails that also connect to Burnaby's cultural amenities: Burnaby Art Gallery, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Burnaby Village Museum and Hart House Restaurant.
Deer Lake Park is located north of Deer Lake and is home to two elementary schools and Burnaby Central Secondary School. It's also close to the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
The housing make-up of both neighbourhoods is mostly detached single-family homes. With all levels of schools nearby, as well as access to plentiful outdoor recreation, Deer Lake and Deer Lake Place are fantastic neighbourhoods to raise a family.

The Burnaby Village Museum & Carousel (BVM) was established in 1971 as Heritage Village and the name was officially changed to Burnaby Village Museum in 1984.
