Rainbird Trail hiking in Ketchikan Alaska 2019
Get off the beaten track in Kethchikan, Alaska and discover the amazing Rainbird Trail. This spectacular trail is only 0.6 miles long and beginning at the southern end, it is only a 20 minute walk to the start. The views are stunning and the trail is very easy to walk. Well worth the effort while visiting Ketchikan Alaska

Black Bear swimming Across Naha Bay, Ketchikan, Alaska
We took this video earlier this summer. We were sitting at the dining table with Gary Lewis and his family and camera man (Gary Lewis Outdoor Adventures) when Jack spotted a dark shape out in the bay. He had just saying it would be neat if he got to see a bear swimming in the bay. We then realized that the dark shape he saw was in fact a bear swimming across the bay in front of our home and lodge. Jack grabbed his camera and positioned himself at our guest accommodation to film the bear. I also grabbed my camera and this is the video I took. Jack's footage will be part of one of the two shows that they will air in the spring of 2012.
Naha Bay Lodge/Naha Bay Outdoor Adventures - We are a small lodge remote from the road system at historical Loring, Naha Bay, about 30 minutes north of Ketchikan, Southeast Alaska. In addition to a full lodge service we offer saltwater charters, guided freshwater fishing and self-guided freshwater and saltwater fishing along with fabulous wildlife watching opportunities. We are ideal for exclusive small groups and family bookings up to 4 to 6 people.

Breakfast in Ketchikan. Ferry to Alaska - March 2017
Hopped off the ferry for breakfast at The Landing, a nice little bed and breakfast just a short walk from the port. The corned beef hash was very good.
