I just dropped in at Zara's By The Lake for the first time tonight. And I've got 3 things to mention:

First of all, Mel - the owner and head chef of the restaurant - makes a casual and friendly atmosphere in the place... and he makes a delicious Pineapple chicken, too! Gloriously tender, with just the right blend of shawarma and Middle Eastern spices.

Second, Celeste is a great hostess, she seems to keep everyone working together easily to enjoy themselves on BOTH sides of the bar.

And third... Something tells me I just found a new favorite restaurant in Oakville!

Royal Ashburn Golf Club is a highly recommended course to visit. Take a look at the video from Royal Ashburn as we're waiting to tee off. While waiting I thought I'd go up on their patio to capture the view of the first hole.
